Friendly and attentive hosts, made to feel very welcome. Breakfast just right. Beds so comfortable, location is right in the centre of Teignmouth and the beach is across the road. Very clean and tidy.

We went to the Thornhill Hotel on the 11th May for one week. Our room overlooked the sea and was very comfortable. Brian and Nicky were very helpful and friendly and were always willing to offer information to help us on our travels. The breakfasts were lovely and the fresh fruit was much appreciated. A good place to stay in Teignmouth , with a short walk to the trains, buses and shops.

My wife and I only stayed one night but were made to feel very welcome by the owners. Although our room was not very large because of the en-suite facilities that had been added it was very well equipped with adequate storage space, a very comfortable bed, tea & coffee facilities and even a few sweets to welcome us. The en-suite facilities were snug but again very well equipped with a good shower and very nice towels. The hotel is well situated for the town and the beach but is tucked up a short tiny lane which made it very quiet.
The breakfast was excellent and I was very happy to find a fresh and varied fruit salad among the offerings. Super value for money.

We only stayed one night but were made to feel most welcome. The bed was most comfy and large, the room very clean and the shower powerful and hot. Along with nice towels which we had, these are the things I like to rate a room on. The fresh fruit salad at breakfast was most welcome and the cooked breakfast very tasty and not at all greasy.

Room Tip: There is one room which does have a private bathroom but it is not ensuite.

Just returned home from a lovely weekend in Teignmouth staying at the Thornhill Hotel and wanted to share what a wonderful time we have had!

Gorgeous hotel, right on the beach, amazing breakfast and perfect room - Nicola and Brian could not have been more helpful!
Our first family holiday with our newborn was made relaxed and enjoyable with facilities provided and plenty of lovely places nearby to visit! (Including a great round of golf in nearby Shaldon!)

We had a large family room with was perfect with the little one who settled in very happily and would probably have liked to stay! Cot, change mat and facilities provided so we could travel light without all the usual 'baby stuff', all spotlessly clean, peaceful and had everything we needed and more.

We would definitely recommend for families and those looking to enjoy a relaxing retreat surrounded with plenty to entertain all, from golf to live music, beautiful beaches to exciting train rides, picturesque surroundings and more!

Thank you Thornhill Hotel we will be back soon xxx

Room Tip: All EXCELLENT (trip advisor limited me to 'very good' for some reason?! Stayed in room 9...
