Previous reviewers have just about said it all. In all our travels all over the world we have rarely found establishments as exceptional as this one, run with such care, love and pride by Andy and Anne. Everything about Minadab Cottage exceeded our expectations which, having read all the previous reviews before booking, is really saying something. Thank you Andy and Anne ; we look forward to visiting again next year.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and loved everything about it. It's a real home from home - from Anne's cream tea on our arrival to the delicious leisurely breakfast and chat on our last morning we were made to feel special. We loved the fact that we could come and go as we pleased and were able to relax in our room with a sofa, wifi access, a tin of Anne's homemade biscuits and hot and cold drinks (water, soft drinks and fresh milk are provided in a small fridge in each room). We love the location with a choice of walks to get down to the sea. We ambled through the village behind the B&B then down Smuggler's Lane, had lunch in the Owl and the Pusycat (deliberate typo as Tripadvisor won't accept the correct spelling'!!!), a lovely restaurant in Teignmouth and then made our way back through a well kept park and public footpath - a really enjoyable way to spend the last day of our holiday. Definitely somewhere we want to visit again. Thanks again Anne and Andy for making us feel so welcome.

You will find it difficult to find a B&B of this quality anywhere. The thatched cottage is beautiful, the location superb. The hosts are friendly, attentive but unimposing. Our room was spotless, with so many unexpected extras. A fridge stocked with water, soft drinks and milk. A cafetiere, home made cookies and wine glasses (for those with the fore-thought to bring a bottle). The cream tea on arrival, set the tone for the rest of our visit. The cottage has its own fascinating history, Ann & Andy are happy to spend time with their guests, despite their busy routine. Home made bread and jams, with locally sourced produce, provide a breakfast worth getting out of the very comfortable bed for. A very pleasant stay. I would not hesitate to recommend the Minadab, and would certainly book again. Thanks for the jam!

My stay at Minadab Cottage couldn't have been better.. Anne and Andy were warm and welcoming and the Devon cream tea on arrival was a bonus. Our room was comfortable and had everything we could possibly need for our comfort including home made biscuits and fresh ground coffee. I have never experienced that in a B and B before. Andy's home made bread at breakfast was a treat. I shall definitely be reccommending Minadab to my friends

Good position for local and coastal walks. Had a lovely holiday staying in this wonderful B&B. Appreciated the complementary refreshments, particularly the cream tea. Grateful for the suggestions of where to eat and the information about places to visit. Hope to return.

My daughter and I stayed at Minidab Cottage for the weekend and found it a truly woderful experience. This is a B and B where the hosts, Ann and Andy, provide the most fantastic service. Their warmth and enthusiasm showed through in everything they did - the warm welcome with a cream tea and a chat, real coffee and home made biscuits in the rooms, restaurant recommendations and a fantastic breakfast with local produce and home made bread and jams.
Our room, Pickles, was lovely with really comfortable beds. The house is lovely and it was interesting to hear it's history. A thoroughly enjoyable stay, we'll definitely be back.

Ann & Alan are lovely people; we had the warmest of welcome on our arrival with a cream tea, new one on us. Our room was beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable, there was the normal complementary tea & coffee, but they also supplied fresh milk, soft drink & water in the mini fridge along with home made biscuits.

The en-suit was very nice with a good shower and wonderful brilliant white and very fluffy towels. The complementary toiletries were of high quality

Breakfast was very tasty and Anne and Alan were very attentive, they really couldn’t do enough for there guest. A great home from home! We will differently return and highly recommend Minadab Guest House to anyone
