“Lovely cottage in an historic village.”

A beautiful setting, with open fields (May's wood) behind the cottage. Extra special as this cottage is a part of my wife's family history. Well located for all the attractions in this part of Dorset, with two good local pubs who cater for Gluten free. Ideal for family with two toilets with hand-basins - luxury for just us two!

We had a wonderful stay the cottage and amenities were spot on would go back tomorrow. On a lovely peaceful road pub close by and a couple of places to eat. Can use as a base to explore. Went to Blandford town to the market on the Saturday and to Wimborne market on the Sunday.

“Great cottage in a nice location”
Reviewed 9 October 2017 for a stay in September 2017

Pretty cottage in a lovely location for exploring Dorset. Charming inside and out and very cosy. Good communication from the owners before and during our stay.

The cottage is conveniently located for Monkey World and the Tank Museum - both a short drive away and both recommended. Two pubs are within walking distance, one of which caters for coeliacs.

We had a great stay!

“Fantastic cottage, beautiful location”
Reviewed 24 July 2017 for a stay in June 2017

We stayed at this beautiful thatched cottage for half term with our two children. What a gorgeous, warm and friendly place to stay and base yourself for the amazing adventures that we had in the Dorset area. There is so much to see and do here. The highlight for us were the beaches and incredible coastal walks. The cottage is so cosy. The kitchen has everything you need and plenty of space, and the back garden was perfect for the kids to play and for sitting out on a warm evening. I would recommend this cottage to couples and families, and we cannot wait to go back.

We loved our stay. The cottage has plenty of character and set in a lovely little hamlet, backing onto a meadow. The cottage was the perfect size for us and our two kids. The kitchen had everything we needed. Bere Regis was an ideal location for getting around attraction in Dorset. We would love to stay here again.
