I recently enjoyed an evening with my husband and another couple.... An excellent evening with excellent company... The food was delicious, wine even more delicious and the service was excellent... Relaxed, cosey atmosphere...

“Surprise Meal”
Reviewed 19 February 2013

Surprise meal out courtesy of my partner. Never anything but consistently good, quality, well home cooked food and service. Had lamb which was delicious and perfectly cooked - even tempted my partner with a taste and he's not keen on lamb - he loved it.

“Simply The Best Restaurant/Bistro in Colne!”
Reviewed 23 January 2013

Small and friendly with delicious home-cooked food, the halibut(When available) is simply exquisite. Add to that a good range of reasonably priced wines and beers and you have a recipe for a perfect dining experience.

“Parisian patron adrift in the Pennines”
Reviewed 22 January 2013

Good food, delightfully served in a homely bistro-style environment.
He concentrates on a small number of quality dishes, but there's usually a good choice of steak, fowl or fish, imaginatively & sensitively cooked. The vegetables are always cooked al dente & are delicious. The puddings are also temptingly good.
