love Wycoller its beautiful in all seasons. The Historic buildings, the bridge I don't live too far away so I often walk to it,Its nice to feed all the ducks,I go in winter when there is not as many visitors and the ducks are not has well fed in winter and are grateful for the extra food.theres a lovely tearoom and if you sit out you can see all the beautiful birds in the trees around the tearoom. Its a beautiful walk all around this area.If you park your car in the car park there be sure to lock up,its known for thieves taking advantage in this area.well worth a visit to this truly wonderful place.

I used to come here as a child with my family so it naturally brings back memories. Lively place for a picnic, paddling and exploring the ruins.

Spent a very pleasant few hours ear one sunny afternoon and would recommend as a peaceful, historical place to unwind and meander without costing you a penny. We parked at the car park (free) and walked the 500m or so to the village. Walked around the ruins of Wycoller Hall, famous as the potential inspiration for Charlotte Bronte's Ferndean Manor in Jane Eyre. Walked across the old bridges and explored the old Barn dating back to the 1500s. We sat and ate our picnic lunch on a table at the rear of the barn overlooking a small pond and open grass area. We climbed the steps near the ruined hall and walked up to the Atom on the hill with great views across to Pendle Hill. We also walked farther along the pathway past the hall to the ancient Clam Bridge, crossing over it and returning via the Willow sculptures on the opposite path. The cafe was open, and very busy, but we didn't partake. There are many walks from this spot and we hope to return to explore further afield. All in all a very quiet and pretty place to while away a few hours on a sunny day.
