We spent 4 nights at eastfield lodge and found everything to be of a very high standard.
The rooms were spotless, the breakfasts were top quality, you wont need to eat lunch, and thehosts, thurza and vic were top class hosts. Many thanks and we will be backR and TJ Clayton

My wife and I have just returned from a three night stay at Eastfield lodge. We had a wonderful room, with views over Pen hill from a delightful settee. Breakfast was outstanding, mixed fruit with yoghurt, followed by a full English. We had some wonderful walks, which started from the lodge, so no need to drive. I also had a couple of bike rides, following some of the tour route, loads of safe storage for my bike. Great to meet Symon and Ash, who added so much to our stay.
Chris and Alwyn.

Room Tip: Room number 3 was excellent.

Stand in hosts Ash and Sy were magnificent. Warm, extremely knowledgeable and nothing too much trouble. They made our stay, though the excellent breakfast (including fresh fruit in addition to the 'norm') and daily 'compulsory' home made cake and sweetie jars also helped!
Accommodation fit for purpose, very clean and perfectly acceptable.
Although a fat boy myself, ideal location for walkers and cyclists.

Room Tip: Request room facing the front as views outweigh traffic noise from road.

Our second visit. Once again the hospitality of Vic & Thurza and their staff shone through - they could not have done more to make us welcome. Breakfast with local ingredients was lovely, afternoon tea w fresh baked cakes very welcome and the one dinner we had was tasty, generous and convivial. Bike storage was great and, though we didn't need it this time, the drying room is very effective.

We didn't stay overnight but were in Leyburn for the Tour de France. The staff of this B&B were just lovely...sharing chairs for those standing a long time, selling the most wonderful home baking & being a fabulous example of Yorkshire hospitality. We hope to come back to stay one day soon. Thank you!

I have been meaning to write a review for this for a while because I had such a lovely experience here! So much so I have recommended it to my parents and they are currently there now! My boyfriend booked it as a surprise night away and he managed to exceed all expectation of where we were going!I We had a wonderful visit and all staff were thoroughly welcoming and helpful. It is a beautiful and large building, with a quietness to it. The bedroom and en-suit were are clean, homely and spacious so our stay was very comfortable. The breakfast was all local produce and came in a plentiful supply that definitely kept us going for the day. My favourite part to it was that there were homemade rocky roads, brownies and coffee cake in the entrance hall , as well as a nice selection of sweets jars for your own pic a mix for guests to help themselves to. This was such a simple touch that went a long way in making what was a wonderful impression on us both. Would go here again and have recommended it more than once!

We loved everything about our brief stay at Eastfield Lodge, from the warm welcome to the thoughtful touches such as homemade cakes on arrival, jars of sweets for us to help ourselves to and lots of helpful information about the local area. The place was spotless and homely and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here. We will definitely return!
