Stayed at The Pines Guest House. Tim and Gloria are the owners and will help with any request you have. The house is very clean and tidy. Close window if overlooking main road as the bikers are quite noisey first thing in a morning. We had a ceiling fan which was heaven whilst the weather was so hot. We stayed there as we were on a mission of trekking around the Waterfalls Trails. Plenty of pit stops for ice cream and other refreshments. Wish it was more sunny to swim at Thornton Force area. We tried to book Pines for the week after but fully booked, so having to stay in the village next week. Cooked breakfast was perfect and whilst eating in the conservatory, there is a grapevine above you to eye up the bunches of grapes. Sadly not quite ready for us to have a few to taste. Gloria makes a Marmalade that is to die for. I have brought 3 jars home. The bar is a Honesty Bar and you a good selection is there reasonably priced. You record your room number and Fri is consumed then billed at the end. Heated swimming pool and caves is our next week s adventure. Thanks for a relaxed stay and go view the Koi Carp and fish in the 6" pond

Had a lovely night stay, Tim and Gloria were so helpful and advised us best place to eat etc.. The room was spotless. breakfast was spot on, the gardens were beautiful and my husband asked the name of plant he would like to get, and Gloria actually gave him a cutting he was over the moon, has already planted in our garden...... While we were there ended up buying a caravan in the area as we were so impressed, so probably wont stay at the pines again but only because we have caravan up the road..... Once settled will go back and say hello....

Our first visit but not our last , we had the family room which accommodated us all easily, Spotlessly clean and great breakfast , played pool in the bar which my son thought was brilliant for a hotel.
Tim and Gloria very helpful as we were at a wedding and gave us directions and help for the hangovers

The accommodation is good and clean, our hosts were extremely helpful even going out of their way to assist with transport on one occasion. The breakfasts were very good (and hot) and nothing was a problem. I would have no hesitation in returning or recommending The Pines to everyone.

We stopped here during the Ingleton 1940's weekend - a first for us!!
We were recommended to stay here and it surpassed all expectations. A beautiful building in a gorgeous setting and well within easy walking distance of the village itself. Our room was spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The decoration is well within keeping for such a property and to a high standard.
We were left to our own devices, tho Tim and Gloria were on hand for any requirements and we had the run of the guest lounge ( with honesty bar and pool table), conservatory and stunning patio area / garden in which to sun ourselves.
Breakfast was home cooked and again the service was excellent, again, the full English was delicious and highly recommended!! Tim and Gloria have a great local knowledge of the area and happy to impart this if you so wish. We were so impressed we have booked to stop for next years event already. :-)
