It was nice to meet you at the weekend, pleased you enjoyed your stay
We have enjoyed our stay at Inglenook Guest House very much. Every room is well equipped with a TV, Bathroom and Wi-Fi. Carolyn and Phil were lovely hosts and always up for a chat. The room was clean an well furnished.
Hope you enjoyed the rest of your holiday in the UK and thank you for taking the time to write a review.
This B&B is a little gem! Carolyn and Phil were very welcoming and attentive and our three night stay was very enjoyable. Our room was clean, bright and airy, and the fridge was handy. Breakfast was to die for (no need for lunch) with lots of choice. Conveniently situated only half a mile from the village centre and lots to do all around, especially the Waterfalls Walk and the climb up Ingleborough. The only thing I would suggest would be complimentary bottled water in the bedrooms, otherwise perfect!
It was lovely to meet you and thank you for your kind words
We arrived to a friendly welcome from the host. The room was spotlessly clean and more than adequate for our needs. Although we only used the lounge on arrival for our complimentary cuppa, it was very comfortable and homely. There was plenty of literature on hand, to plan your stay. Also the hosts were very knowledgeable of the local area and history. The location of the B&B is very close to the town centre and only a short walk away from the Ingleton falls. Each morning we ate a full English breakfast and cereal was provided if required. We would recommend this B&B, and if we were to go again we would definitely stay again.
Thank you for staying with us for your special anniversary, pleased you enjoyed your stay
Well situated in Ingleton with lots of walks right from the front door. The place had very comfortable rooms with a TV and high speed internet. The front room is large with comfy chairs and a TV with loads of channels, plus the makings for tea and coffee, and often home cooked cakes. Perfect for kicking back to relax after a day out hiking.
We are pleased you took advantage of the guest lounge, particularly when you were able to see England win the cricket and Andy Murray win another match. You also had a long enough stay to appreciate our lovely walks and scenery. Hope you have a good journey back to the USA.
After a day of cycling in torrential rain, we arrived wet through. We were warmly greeted with the offer of towels to dry off and plenty of newspapers for our wet gear. Clothes were quickly taken to be dried out...we couldn't have wished for more. Although we had one of the smaller rooms it was still adequate for our needs and the kettle was soon on.
After a good dinner in the village we awoke next morning to a really hearty breakfast. With dry clothes we were able to start our day comfortable and with a full stomach. We only stayed the one night but the experience couldn't have been better. We would definitely recommend Inglenook to others.
You really did pick one of the wettest days of the year for your cycling trip to stay with us. It didn't dampen your spirits though and we trust the rest of your holiday was a bit dryer. I can't change the weather but I can try and dry clothes out!
