The Premier Inn at Godalming is a lovely little gem, with only 16 rooms available, you will be well cared for during your stay.
We used this hotel after visiting Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and then a local National Trust Property before returning home to Hertfordshire.

This is a small Premier Inn and even when full seems to be very quiet and peaceful. Attached bar and restaurant very good. Room excellent, as usual Premier Inn beds are very comfortable. Had best sleep in a long time. Definitely recommended.

If you need a bathroom with a shower that you can use and are a wheelchair user then don't stop here as the accessible rooms only have baths. Also if you need a personal assistant to stay with you then take a blow up bed with you otherwise you will have to sleep with them as they only have double beds in the accessible rooms. Can be noisy especially in room 2 as this is by reception and gets used a lot by the receptionist after 10 pm

Thank you for reviewing your recent stay at our hotel. At Premier Inn we always strive to provide customers with everything they need to have a comfortable stay, and I apologise that on this occasion we have failed to do this. Most of our Premier Inn sites are equipped with full disabled facilities, including wet-rooms, though some older sites are still in need of updating. We do however state the available facilities on our website, and would advise customers to contact the hotel to check availability. Once again thank you for your review, we hope to welcome you back to Premier Inn in the future.

Hotel was welcoming - rooms comfortable and clean - staff attentive - restaurant on premises helpful after a long journey from Scotland. i would recommend this particular hotel but the chain in general.

Stayed for 2 night business break, check in was super fast and easy which is always good. Went to room to find that bathroom had no towels, spoke to lady in reception who without any fuss brought these up to my room along with an iron and ironing board. I was in room 9 which was spacious, clean and quiet, it had pretty well everything you would expect, a hair dryer, tea/coffee facilities, en-suite bath/shower, lots of plug sockets, mirrors, lots of lighting, large LCD tv on the wall, heating, tub chair, open storage for clothes. It's a small 17 room premier inn and in some ways probably makes it a quieter one than normal. Came back 2nd day to find toilet roll hadn't been topped back up but again reception saved the day. My only complaint is that housekeeping need to sharpen up, on arrival i had no bath towel, no hand towel and no floor towel, 2nd day did not top up toilet roll enough and soap dispenser over bath seemed low. Overall though I would stay again, has plenty of free parking, quiet stay in a nice area of town.

Room Tip: There are no stairs so be sure to ask for a ground floor room if you have any problems tackling stai...

Would love to give a review of our stay at godalming but alas we never even got this far after booking 6 months in advance my family and I arrived for our two night stay for a family wedding near by , on booking in to our rooms we were to our surprise given rooms on second and top floor this to our surprise as in our party was my wheelchair bound mother whom which we booked a ground floor disabled room For her and her needs . We'll it would seem our room had been booked out and there were no rooms of this type for our mother instead the receptionist questioning " could she not manage the stairs then " . I do appreciate mistakes are made but we were expecting a simple resolution to our problem , there were rooms disabled ones 10 minutes up the road to satisfy our needs but at extra cost ,the rooms being more expensive and of course our taxi fare to our family wedding trebled so as un convenient we asked if we could come to a neutral agreement suggesting we would be happy to move but at same cost . So our receptionist rung her area manager Stefan I believe . Too ask for a solution During this phone call spending the majority of her time apologising to Stefan for disturbing him not the family of five including disabled who had just spent 2 hours on route to find there accommodation was not available . His answer was a very short and sweet no with no reasoning or apologies and ending call rather quick , so not satisfied we asked our receptionist to ring him again maybe we could talk to him so again she rings him again apologising to Stefan bless him and again the phone call ending quickly with no resolve . We were treated as a number with no humanity just told we had agreed to terms and conditions and that was that ,so we left feeling poorly treated and let down by your receptionist your area manager but alas not your company as we did stay at guilford and was treated brilliantly ,just such a shame your goldalming staff and management let the side down and poor old Stefan does not like being disturbed to help resolve customers needs .

Stayed for two nights. The pillow case and duvet cover on one bed had mud on from the air con but these were quickly changed when requested. Room fine basic but clean. The building was lovely and great location. The attached Beefeater lets the place down. Ate there two consecutive nights and the second night our food was cold at took ages to be re-served. Also drinks ordered werent delivered. To be fair the duty manager was apologetic and reduced the bill. Would return to the hotel but not the resturant.
