“Perfect quaint cafe with fabulous food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 September 2014

This is my favorite cafe in Northern Ireland. The food is inexpensive and delicious. The atmosphere is historic, surrounded by antique shops and the legendary crows of Greyabbey. When it's sunny the courtyard is perfect and the inside keeps getting better and better. They have a really long table for a large family to use and several quaint seats spread out through the historic building. The cinnamon scones are amazing and the coffee is second to none. I love the proprietors and the decor. This is a must stop destination.

“Perfect Sunday Brunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 August 2014

We popped into Hoops for brunch on Sunday - and we were delighted we did. The kids had pancakes and crispy bacon and we had a fry and the healthy fry with some tea and coffee. The healthy breakfast was great with beautiful homemade wheaten bread, fresh rocket and relish accompanying the grilled bacon, poached eggs and delicious sausage.

The service was excellent and there was a lovely atmosphere. There were a mixture of couples and families. As a family it was great as there was plenty of room, a high chair for the baby and plenty of space so that others out enjoying a quiet coffee could dine in peace too. There were lots of seats outside which was great for those who were out with the dog.

The brunch was good value for money and on a sunday afternoon strolling down the street to the ruins of the abbey makes for a lovely afternoon.

“Coffee shop hidden amongst antique shops”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 July 2014

A really good find just off the main street in Greyabbey. Quaint coffee shop with good choice of menu. Recommend the scones they are magnificant. Seating both inside and outdoors which is great in this beautiful weather. Right beside lots of antique shops which open late morning. Great service and warm welcome

“Great Surprise”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 July 2014

Stopped in at Greyabbey for breakfast on a drive towards the coast and found this little place. I was pleasantly surprised at the friendly service and gluten-free options. The GF scone was legit!

“Hidden Gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 July 2014 via mobile

I have visited Hoops coffee shop a few times in the past few months and have been impressed on every visit. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the food is top notch. The menu is small but well prepared and very tasty, traybakes and scones are an added bonus! I will certainly be returning in the near future.
