I would definately recommend this B&B for anyone looking for a Place to stay for a few days in Magherafelt. Located Close to the town centre. The Clearwater house B&B Welcomed us with open arms provided us with great accomodation, clean rooms, comfy beds and to top it all off Bernies Breakfasts were so good. looked forward to getting up every morning knowing what was downstairs waiting. breakfast was at a time that suited us and got what we asked for. Great value for money and would definately be return to stay at the clearwater house B&B.

Bernie came out to find us following a phone call from us in the rain on our bikes trying to find the B and B, we were welcomed from the moment we stepped in the property. The house is beautiful and immaculate. We arrived cold and saturated and we were greeted with warm home made bread and hot drinks brought to our rooms. Even the dogs were welcoming. As for the breakfast, it was huge and delicious. Bernie also ran us into town and back again for our evening meal. This was the best accommodation we experienced in an 11 night cycle trip, I cannot recommend it enough and we would certainly use it again. Thank you Bernie and Robert and the best of luck for the future.

bernie and robert are ridicoulsly friendly. nothing is too much. Bennie insisted on ironing my shirt for me, she did a free taxi service into the local town and picked us up so that we could have a glass of wine. the irish breakfast is huge. u dont need to eat for days after. having said that she still wanted to make us packsandwiches for lunch
if you want a good irish experience with very friendly people then i would come here. we would definelty go back
PS i really dont know how they make money because it was very cheap, they did free taxi service and huge breakfasts. i actually felt bad that we were paying so little for so much, we thought about tipping but werent sure if you could tip a B&B?

Dear Bernie and Robert,

We wanted to touch base and reiterate what a splendid time we had staying at your fabulous B & B. Please know that we are deeply appreciative for the ways in which you went out of your way to make us feel welcome: Robert showing us around, Bernie going out for additional refreshments, and you both for humoring us as we rambled on about our genealogical quest.

There were so many nice touches: the Twix bars in the spatious, sparkling rooms, full breakfast (with so many options), your genuine warmth, and willingness to accomodate and be flexible.

Please be assured that we most certainly plan to stay at your place the next time (hopefully soon) we travel to the Magherafelt area. In fact, we wouldn't miss it...though this time we will likely have the kids in tow.

I hope you both are well and look forward to staying in touch. Thanks again for a wonderful visit; your hospitality shines through!

The warmest welcome you could wish for, from Bernie and Rob
Nothing too much trouble, from downloading a map of Belfast city centre to a free 'taxi' service into town and back for a night out without having to drink and drive.
Never did manage the 'full Irish' breakfast, the 'lite' version was more than enough!
Rooms were large, cheerful and spotless and kept that way throughout our stay. Towels were changed daily.
Comfortable guests lounge with TV, video, DVD, CD players and radio.
Hospitality tray replenished daily, not just with biscuits, but with buns and cake too.
The owners had two very friendly dogs, but we never saw, heard, smelled or otherwise detected them inside the house.
Clearwater house is the kind of B&B you dream of finding, but rarely do.

A very comfortable sleep. The room was en suite and had a TV with DVD player and some DVDs. Such an amazing breakfast in the morning - kept me going all day! We stayed here as we were passing by the area- not sure what is in the area for tourists.

Such a welcoming and friendly couple - I would definately go back!

brother in law chris and myself were cycling round lough neagh and having trouble finding accomodation. luckily my daughter booked us in with bernie and robertand our problems were over.(though we had to cycle back 10 miles towards magherafelt). as soon as we arrived we were looked after like royalty.only in the door and the kettle was on for tea and home made bread . ,good guest relaxing room, lots of books ,good location close to restaurants and bars in magherafelt, (and robert took us in the 3km while bernie picked us up after we had eaten.) our room was a twin but was really two connecting rooms with ensuite and great shower. breakfast was excellent and the craic was good.lovely couple and thanks for everything
