Service was relaxed warm and welcoming. The property is a gorgeous farm amongst serene surroundings. We got to feed lambs and chickens. The place was well equipped for home cooking. It was spacious clean and tidy. There were also books to read. Bought some eggs and meat off the owners. Felt very rested by the end of our stay. Location is great for trips around Aberdeenshire. We visited whisky distilleries, went mountain biking, and walked around Aberdeen.

“Beautiful country location”
Reviewed 14 May 2014 for a stay in May 2014

My partner, dog and I stayed for a long weekend. Accommodation was lovely. Very tastefully furnished and new. Excellent kitchen facilities and very comfy bed.
Was great as the hayloft is in the farmyard so you are surrounded by all manner of animals.
Hosts were very welcoming and friendly. We bought some eggs and meat from the farm during our stay.
Located in the middle of the Aberdeenshire countryside, very close to many lovely walks.
Would definitely return,

“Hayloft Joy”
Reviewed 24 April 2014 for a stay in April 2014

We stayed at Wark Farm Hayloft for 4 nights in April. The accommodation is comfortable, spacious and well equipped. The owners were very helpful and friendly and even gave us a tour of the farm. They had good knowledge of the area. We bought meat and eggs from the farm - all excellent and very tasty. Overall, we would recommend The Hayloft as a great base for exploring the surrounding areas.

“Comfort and elegance in the countryside”

Met on arrival and shown around. the Hayloft is built from local hardwoods and is very well finished.
The large kitchen living area is very large and surprisingly easy to keep warm. The bathroom is very well equipped and has room for movement (unlike some places).
I was there with work so was mainly out in the dark and back in the dark, however what I did see was ideal for the holiday type who wants to walk and explore.
Would recommend to anyone who asls.
