After taking the dog for a walk down the river path we all stopped for a drink and some food at the Brig Inn. From the moment we walked in and asked if Dave our dog was allowed in the terrace part of the restaurant we were made to feel welcome. They make no bones about the outside of the pub but don't let this put you off at all, it's definately what's on the inside that counts. Tasty home cooked food and Mary in the kitchen is a great character. You can't moan about the value for money and would highly recommend you stop here to eat and drink if you get the chance.

Very good friends took us to the Brig Inn. We had the Lasagne, cheese and garlic bread with chips, followed by home made Rhubarb tart and custard. Rhubarb was first of the season and was absolutely delicious. My wife had home made upside down pineapple sponge and ice-cream, again this was delicious. Although not locals we were made to feel very welcome. A very pleasant and relaxing evening sat overlooking the River Annan. Would highly recommend this pub and will definitely be back when next in Annan. Thank you very much Mary for the wonderful food.

Visited the Brig Inn with friends for Sunday lunch. Food was excellent, all home made. My husband and I had the Apple and Blackberry pie which was delicious. Very friendly homely atmosphere. The restaurant overlooks the river and is very relaxing whilst eating your meal. We have eaten in several pubs in and around the area but we have never had such an outstanding meal. Thankyou to all at the Brig Inn - we shall definitely be back!!
