We were overwhelmed by the whole experience of this lovely Guest House.
It exeded our expectations in every way!
Rockvilla is imaculate, the rooms and ensuite were gorgeous.
Our room had a king size bed and we had a view overlooking the loch.
There were ample towels and high standard of extras in the ensuite.
Then there was the food, OMG, it was amazing! Everything homemade and to the highest of standard and quality, and mostly organic!
I would highly recomend a visit to the restaurant! We will certainly be back.
The hosts Wendy and Pete were so welcoming and nothing was too much bother for them.
I hope they have a fantastic season, because I know that once you have been, you will certainly want to go back!

Room Tip: They are all good rooms!

Lovely B and B. Peter and Wendy are warm, gracious hosts who go out of their way to make sure you are well taken care of. They pay attention to the details. Wendy is a fabulous cook and we were delighted to be able to eat both dinner and breakfast right there in the restaurant attached to their b and b. The food was spot on, first rate, fresh, flavorful, and gourmet. Wendy makes every effort to use organic, fresh and local prouduce whenever possible. What a fantastic treat. This is one of those places worth going out of your way to stay at. You won't be dissapointed. The view from our room was spectacular and we found the village of Lochcarron to be filled with great photo opportunities. The house is warm, cozy and well insulated. A lovely place to stay in the gorgeous Scottish highlands. Don't miss it!

Room Tip: We loved our corner room because we had windows facing both directions with fantastic views of the l...

Our welcome at Rockvilla was ever so kind, after coming out of a snow storm on our way to Applecross. We had to turn around and find a place to stay the night.
After parking our motorcycles on the private parking space we could hang our wet suits in a separate room to dry.
The room had two magnificant views on the loch and the mountains. The en suit bathroom was large and all very comfortable.
Downstairs there's a very cosy dining room where we had drinks a delicious dinner and the most tasty traditional Scottish breakfast.
Great hosts, great cook and the nicest service!

We spend the night here when we found the pass to Apple Cross blocked by snow for our motorcylces.

Spending the evening and night at Rockvilla was perfect - so after all we where very happy nature forced us there! We had a great room - clean and in a perfect state, a great dinner and a verry warm and kind welcome of the owners.

The next day we where able to continue our journey, but we will certainly come back and spend more days at this verry pleasant and welcoming place!

We recently sent 4 nights here during a recent walking holiday in Wester Ross. Our room was a good size, with a really comfortable bed with a great view over the loch. Our bathroom was modern, spotlessly clean with plenty of fresh towels and little extras. Wendy is a great cook and the breakfasts were ample and delicious. We also had dinner there one evening and although one of our friends requires a gluten free diet, Wendy was on the case making sure that she was well catered for. Food was locally sourced and well cooked. In general the location of the guesthouse is well placed for other travel within that locality and for trying other restaurants etc in the village. I would really recommend this guesthouse and you can be sure of a great welcome from Peter and Wendy.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms at the front to get a great view of the loch and the mountains behind.

I had five days and nights at the Rockvilla in September. My room was spotlessly clean and i had my own shower room. I found Pete and Wendy to be very friendly, hospitable and helpful hosts. The breakfasts and dinners were absolutely superb, their steaks being some of the nicest i have tasted in a long time. For anyone finding themselves in Lochcarron or thereabouts, i would not hesitate to recommend the Rockvilla as the place from which to base themselves.
