A very nice Bed & Breakfast in Mallaig!

It was very uncomplicated, the booking, the check-in, the check-out.
Nice and friendly staff and a beautiful room, what else does one need?

We had a really nice stay at the cornerstone. The room seems newly renovated and the living area is nice as well. Breakfast was very good as well.
The work in the port starts obviously early and you should be aware that you are staying in the center! of a "fishing-town" (if i may say so) and that there may be some noise from outside.

I can recommend this B&B to everyone who stays in Mallaig!

We were only there for an overnight stop before catching the ferry to Skye. Great room with a view, nice bathroom. Plenty of places to eat around, including downstairs. The only problem was finding a parking spot and unloading our luggage. We choose not to pay extra for a breakfast the next morning.

Friendly, spotless, wonderful food downstairs, If you are considering staying in Mallaig don't hesitate there are only 2 rooms .Book a room (and a table) ASAP.There may be other worthy B&Bs in Mallaig but when you find a gem as good as this why risk missing out on the best Cullen Skink I have ever tasted!

We only stayed one night here but what a lovely place to stay! Exceptionally clean, comfortable room with a fabulous view out over the busy harbour. Our room had an en suite shower room with lovely toiletries and fluffy towels. Also, as other reviewers have said there is a shared sitting room between the 2 bedrooms with a cooker and a fridge and comfy seats. Breakfast was delicious - we had the full Scottish with home made bread - very yummy! We also decided to eat in the restaurant and were not disappointed - mussels were so fresh and tasty and so was the fish - all cooked to perfection. Both owners were very friendly and we would definitely stay here again if in Mallaig and would highly recommend both the B&B and the restaurant.

En route to Rum this seemed to be an ideal place to both stay and eat. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, with good showers and a large kitchen and sitting room shared between just two rooms. The owner's kitchen overlooks the entrance and he enthusiatically spotted us getting our cases out and helped us settle in, whilst presumably cooking some of his excellent fish dishes. Being able to pop downstairs for dinner made this more than a B&B, and watching fishing vessels and ferries come into harbour just added to the experience. If you like skate-wings this is the place to have them

Lovely two night stay in this clean and friendly B&B. Family trip so we had the rooms to ourselves. Played cards in the sitting room and enjoyed tea and coffee (provided). Bedrooms and bathrooms spotless and comfortable. THEN there's breakfast! Whether you go for the full Scottish (Stornoway black pudding, mmm) or the home smoked salmon and eggs you are in for a treat. The owner is. out-going and friendly. Can't recommend highly enough.
