“The stay was wonderful!”

We had one of the best rooms in the Inn. With a private deck upstairs, it was very relaxing. I could not believe such a beautiful in such remote part of BC. I just wish there was a good place for dinner in town, which we couldn't find. The breakfast was great in town.

Room Tip: Room 301 had a private deck and king size bed.

This property was charming and top notch, all the more so because of where it is. We recently stopped in Stewart on our way to AK from OR, and spent a night at the inn with our family of 5. The inn was rustic, charming, and far exceeded our expectations. It had all the comforts we would want and then some. The rooms were spacious, well appointed, and the bathroom exceedingly big. Additionally, common areas were available throughout the hotel. Highly recommend this option vs. the other more traditional motels/hotels in town.

Had a great time with my family in this little spot. On our way to Alaska, we stayed for one night here...Stewart is a very very small town, quite close to the Canadian/American border.

Upon reading other trip advisor reviews, we decided to chose this.

From the outside it looks like a tin shed - but once you step into the hotel area, it's very nice. I appreciate them keeping it rustic and true to the country styles nature. The hotel is sectioned into little buildings that contain about 5 rooms. You walk into this building and it's like you're entering a house - with a common area that has a laptop for guests use, a tredmill, a sauna, chess game and a nice area to sit and chat. My internet connection was fast and efficient - i had no problems at all.

The young man at the reception was very friendly and nice - although we could not find him to return the keys. We were advised by the cleaners to leave the keys in the box provided. It was a very comfortable room and i would have nothing to complain about.

The only bad thing i'd have to say is that there's no breakfast provided, but you can go to a close by resturarant that's literally across the road.

This hotel was a unique find. We had rooms 301 and 310. Both rooms were large and comfortable with a nice view facing the estuary. The hotel also gave us a 5 dollar off voucher to the Rookery (which had an amazing breakfast!) Ripley Creek Inn was also very close to several attractions, the Bear river where you can watch the salmon run and bears fish, Salmon Glacier, Bear Glacier, and a 5 minute drive to Hyder, AK. My only complaint with this room would be you can hear your neighbors and even the people underneath you conversations. Other than that this was a great hotel with friendly staff.

Room Tip: Room 301 has a king bed and a nice view facing the estuary. It is large with a dining table, mini fr...

My room was large, clean and comfy enough, though I could have used somewhere to hang my clothes. Almost every hotel room has at least that much. 5 little hat hooks, 2 of them broken off. Don't expect working internet---it took 20 mins to send one simple email. Management said that was due to where they are (middle of nowhere) though my local contact said her home internet worked fine.

Room Tip: Just be happy to get a room at all.

This is a unique place, beautiful and comfortable, really highly recommended.
It’s a series of nice buildings facing the beautiful and unique estuary of Bear River, most of them with beautiful and even unique views of the mountains, glacier and the estuary itself (the web site states exactly what you see from each room). Our room was large, comfortable but not synthetic, with nice view. There are also spacious comfortable public areas with the best views.
Price is reasonable, so that this is a GREAT VALUE!

Room Tip: The upper floor in the buildings is better, for views and to avoid the noise of steps from above in...

I love this place! The rooms are so spacious and the decor is a mix of modern and historic west coast. The surrounding area is quiet and serene. Grizzly Bear viewing is just down the road!
Checking in can be a bit of an adventure - as sometimes the front desk person is hard to find but don't be discouraged - the people in the tiny village are extremely friendly and worth the wait. I do not recommend this place to anyone in a hurry. This is a place to sit back and relax!
