Room was huge with our own sitting room. Bathroom was clean and beautiful. Yard and house were well maintained. The sitting room was welcoming. Karen was fabulous! She cooked dinner for us even though it was late. The dinner was a fresh salad, home grown carrots, twice baked potato and best ribs.

We stayed at the Castle Inn while enroute to Prince Edward Island from Ontario. What a fabulous find nestled in amongst the trees on a hill overlooking the town of Perth Andover. The grounds are spectacular and rooms nicely appointed (a little dated but part of the charm). The ensuite in our room had both a large whirlpool tub and separate shower - great for relaxing after a long days drive. The staff were warm and friendly. We enjoyed a delightful supper in the dinning room. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was certainly adequate with a selection of breads, cereal, yogurt, fruit, juice and coffee/tea. We didn't have an opportunity to use the pool or hot tub but will certainly try them out next time we stay. The rates were also excellent. This inn would make an excellent destination for a romantic weekend or as a stop over while travelling.

If you need a place to stay in Perth Andover, I hands down suggest you go try here. We had a family room, kids had their own loft with bunk beds! Great pool, steam and infrared saunas. Looked like a great dining room and bar area. Would also make a good romantic getaway.

Although hard to find, signs leave a lot to be desired, it is an outstanding place to stay. Located on a hill overlooking the town, it is a converted house/castle converted to an inn. It only has 13 rooms so I recommend reservations. Our room, the only one on the main floor, was very comfortable, with a queen bed that was very comfortable. Air conditioner was a little loud but cooled room quickly. Room was spacious and well appointed. Bathroom was huge, separate shower and jet tub. Breakfast was self serve, toast, bagels, cereal, fruit, juice and coffee. Lots of tables and places to sit, both inside and on the patio. Fabulous grounds with lots of outside areas for sitting or strolling. Has a pool, hot tub, steam room, and dry sauna. Will be staying there again.

We felt like royalty driving up to this old European style fairy tale castle in the hills overlooking Perth-Andover. We certainly were treated like royalty from the moment we checked in! This old castle was built in the 1930's but has undergone many renovations over the years including the spa, indoor pool and fitness centre. Our group was part of a history tour of NB. Before dinner we enjoyed drinks in the front lobby...some went outside to the patio. We had a fabulous Salmon dinner in the dining room and cheesecake for dessert. We highly recommend this beautiful landmark hotel for a change from the ordinary.
