The Castle Inn

When driving from Toronto to Fredericton, we were looking for a stop off location along the way. Randomly googled for hotels in each location along the highway and stumbled on all these incredible reviews, in fact we were a little intimidated by the reviews...maybe this place was too nice for us and we were worried that they might have attitude. We were travelling with 2 teens and 2 cats and all our worldly belongings stuffed into the car.
We decided to give it a try, drop in and see if they have a room, would take the cats, and weren't too stuffy for us.
What an amazing experience, they were totally laid back, had rooms available, had no problem with the cats and were incredibly welcoming! We checked in and dragged everything in, had a little relax time and got ready for supper.
The food deserves it's own review, the chef is incredible, this is a 5 star dining experience in a little place in the middle of NB. And the value, the total price for the dinner, and 2 charming rooms was well less than the equivalent price for just the meal alone in most places you'll find with this quality of food. I won't bore you with each of the 4 dishes we had, because I'd be sure to run out of superlatives, and the menu changes with the availability of the foodstuffs. Suffice it to say that if you close your eyes and point at the menu, you'll be delighted by what you get. Take your lover, have a weekend away, you won't be disappointed.

What service! As soon as we got in the door, the chef, Chris, came out to greet us. We spent our honeymoon here and he was wonderful. Although the kitchen was closed, he still made dinner for us. This trip was for our first anniversary. We stayed in the same room the Royal. It's so clean and the amenities are awesome. The bathroom floor as in-floor radiant heat with an adjustable thermometer and it was a cute touch to have a yellow rubber ducky too. The main dining room was all decked out in Christmas decorations and old fashioned music in the background. The staff is always warm, friendly and ready to be of service. My hubby and I like to slow dance to the music and one of the staff is turning the lights down low or turning the music up for us. It's those touches that make this place very romantic and very appreciated. We plan on going back every year for our anniversary and for Valentine's Day. Also built on are new rooms and a full spa. While we didn't use those services, this little hotel doesn't do sub-par. Please go and enjoy! We did and we know we will again!

Just got back from a long weekend visiting family in New Brunswick. Our first stop was at the Castle Inn. Staying there fulfilled a childhood dream. I grew up making up stories about the castle. Now I have gotten to stay at the Castle. What a beautiful, clean , comfortable and homey place. Right down to the family cat, Smokey, sleeping in the sun room. Chris and the staff were so friendly, I can't wait to go back next year. Chris thank you for the tour. You are the best. Wish we lived closer so that we could go to the restaurant more often. If you are in the area, stay at the Castle Inn. Every girl should stay at the Castle at least once a year. Visit the tower.

Happy Holidays to Chris and his staff.

We came to Perth Andover to visit family and friends for an extended weekend and found the Castle Inn incredibly clean, accomodating and a gold nugget in this area. Chris (GM-chef) and his team were great, the food unbelievable and the room was big and comfortable. Chris's talents in the kitchen are worth staying in and dining in the fine restaurant. The wait staff is friendly and willing to meet your expectations!

And, the pool, spa and workout room is a treat!!!

You need to check out this Inn when traveling to this area.

We have been including this inn in our annual fall get away for several years now, followed with some day shopping to he U.S.A. We were very much impressed with the friendly, country, relaxing atmosphere. Prices were reasonable and food was 1st class.

I booked the Fall Special as a romantic surprise for my wife (two nights and a 5 course dinner on one of the nights), with an additional foot massage.
The fact that she didn't know where she was going bothered her, but from the moment she saw the Castle it turned into a Princess's Dream.

The room was beautiful and clean, the bathroom spacious, the service was very friendly and personal, which made us feel at home right away. We made full use of the pool, hot tub, fitness room and steam room
And the food ..... was spectacular. Presentation was excellent and very flavorful. Amazing what this guy can do in the kitchen.

We thoroughly recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away for a few days and totally relax. We will be back for sure.

The Inn is easy to find. The rooms are beautiful. The service is excellent.
The best things about this Inn and our wedding was the personal attention of Chris Cornhill the manager and chef to see that all of our needs were met. We booked all of the rooms, a reception for forty three and exclusive use of the Inn for the day for a very very reasonable price. The only thing is although they have a great continental breakfast the dining room doesn't open until the evening.
