We were offered a really cheap stay on the weekend of January 17th, or 18th and for the price I was not expecting too much, but wanted to get away for some peace and quiet anyway. The place was very clean and Lori who looks after pretty much everything there was fantastic. The room was a lot nicer than I expected. It was a good size and a very comfortable bed. Nice flat screen TV with satellite, but ended up just watching Netflix with their great free wi-fi that worked great. The TV had an HDMI input so could just plug the laptop into it and watch on the big screen.
The only thing lacking in the room was a fridge, but I did see other rooms with one so could of requested one I guess. Looked at some of their other rooms and was blown away at the one suite they had it was huge and had separate sitting area. Would love to stay in this one sometime on a return trip! Lori had recommended a great restaurant called The South Algonquin cookhouse which is just down the road and it was amazing. One of the best meals I've had. Their prime rib and soup of the day is all home made, just like Mom makes! I'm sure that the dinner would of also been great at White Pine as the breakfast buffet was wonderful. Lots of great items to choose from and so much that you didn't have to worry about coming late and missing any. Of course Lori offered to make more for anyone that needed it, but everyone was satisfied. I would suggest that maybe you offer some snow shows or cross country skis for your guests or have snow mobile rentals available through a supplier as that would make it that more enjoyable.

My husband and I stopped in for a drink and a bite to eat New Year's Day. We watched the outdoor hockey game on one of the brand new t.v.'s in a newly opened bar area. My husband shot a game of pool with one of the guest's staying there. Our plate of Nacho's were great, and also reasonably priced. Looking forward to trying the new spa services in the near future.

Found this place just by chance and glad we did. Will definitely be coming back here to White Pine Shores Resort. The hospitality was second to none, Lori and her team completely looked after all our needs and met all our expectations. They definitely know how to cater to all their customers. Rode in on sleds and everything and more was looked after for us. What a great time. Looking forward to another stay here.

Fun, entertainment and good value! I have a cottage in the area and we decided to go to White Pines Shore for New Years Eve. This place has been transformed for the better since it's recent renovations. It was such a treat to hear a live band on New Years and it was a great place to see cottage neighbours and to make new friends. The staff are extremely accomodating and clearly want guests to have a good time. We really enjoyed ourselves--give it a try!

We have lived in the area for a while but were amazed to see all the great improvements made to this resort. Rooms are clean and bright, lobby looks fantastic and we love the new bar! We plan to make this a regular stop! The staff is terrific and we felt very welcome, and the food was great!

Husband and I spent 2 nights over New Years at this hotel. Great party and the band was exceptional. Great location for snowmobilers as it is right on the trail. We took our sleds but unfortunately it was so cold that we opted to just enjoy the serene location. The staff were all so accommodating and eager to help in any way. We will go back but not when it is -35 degrees. Nice job of the recent renos. Disappointed that it is no longer pet friendly as we took our dog last year. All in all a nice place and good food.
