This cottage property is fantastic. The owner was great and very accomodating, the cottage was clean (definitely a cottage, but we weren't expecting luxury accomodations) and roomy enough for my family of four plus in-laws to spend a week. The property is great for families as there is NO traffic through the property other than those staying at the location. The beach is less than a 5 minute walk (even with kids) and it is beautiful! All the attractions in Cavendish are only a 15-20 minute drive. I would stay here again and would definitely recommend it to my friends and family members

The cottage was the perfect place for 4 (my senior parents, my adult daughter and myself). We were able to enjoy eating in as we had a well equipped kitchen and also a bbq, but were also in a great location to be able to go out for food as well. The beach is a 5 minute walk and gorgeous (except for the early arrival of the jelly fish - yuck!). Being in the National Park meant we were in a great central spot and we took lots of drives/trips (Rustico, Cavendish, Brackley Beach, East Point, Dalvay Hotel etc.). Ken was very accommodating and helpful - always there to answer questions, give directions or just check to see how things were going. If we ever return to PEI, we will most definitely look into staying here again.

What more can I say - beautiful island, beautiful beaches and a great location from which to explore.
We stayed a week in Cottage #4 in early July and really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was not fancy, but it was well appointed, clean and exactly what we were looking as a home base to enjoy the sights and activities on the island. It is ideally located, right in the national park, with close proximity to the gorgeous Brackley, Ross Lane and Stanhope beaches. Close enough to the Cavendish area to be able to enjoy some of the touristy stuff but far enough away to enjoy the local sights and sounds. Ken was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Lyons Cottages as a great PEI vacation rental.

This was our second visit to Lyons Cottages and we loved it again. We stayed in cottage 8 with our 10 month old and dog. We all had a wonderful time and it was so nice to be able to get away to such a warm and inviting place. Lyons Cottages' are so close to the beach and great walks. Our cottage was incredibly clean. Literally the cleanest place we have ever stayed. Ken is kind and genuinely wants to make your stay the best. We will for sure be back again next year!
