The best. It was in the middle of trees and hills. On East side we can see super green hills and sea at the backside of the hill. Amazing to watch sunrise every day. They have many cute pets. The dogs were super friendly and if you go for a walk around the hotel they guard you which was really nice. They have many fruit trees and they let you taste them if you are there at the season. Nice and peaceful stay. And it was so nice to sleep in the middle of coqui noises.

Stayed for 2 nights in Room 8 which looks to the ocean side (though trees obscure the view out of the window which anyway isn't high enough for views)

+ve
Nice view from terrace outside breakfast area.
Nice rainforest ambience with beautiful trees, jungle sounds and a frequent breeze.
Nice touches in the rooms like a magazine rack, beach towels rack, decorative tiles etc.
Ok breakfast with unique fruit juices
Swimming pool coming in the future.

-ve
WiFi and TV only in the breakfast area
Weak toilet flush
Bed mattress wasn't great as tossing and turning shook the whole bed
Hot water took forever to reach the shower
AC can cool areas nearby, something was off as it couldn't fix the humidity in the room
Driveway is steep and in need of repair
Owner's dogs, though generally well behaved occasionaly bark and fight
Location is close to rainforest and bio lagoon but not as central as RioGrande or Fajardo (touristy places in rainforest are only accessible from the north entrance so you have to drive back towards San Juan for those)

Excellent country side location in the midst of a green tropical forest. Rooms were clean and the food was great. and it was amazing to hear all the chirping of the birds and coqui frogs.

the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is - I am generally scared of dogs and Michael has atleast 4 dogs and they sometimes keep following you.

This inn is located in the countryside. It is easy enough to find with the provided directions but it is off the beaten path. The view is spectacular from the outdoor dining patio located on the second floor outside the main office. The owner and staff couldn't be friendlier. Breakfast, included, was homemade breads, three varieties, cereal, yogurt and good coffee.
The room was clean. Good air circulation, AC if you need it. There was a lovely hammock on the patio outside our room. Care has been taken to make the grounds pretty. Clean and safe.
(The review has fitness center checked as excellent because I couldn't get rid of the review after accidentally checking it, here is no fitness center.)

Kudos to Michael and Pedro for having such a prefect country inn, my husband found this hidden gem while working in Puerto Rico a year and a half ago. When we booked a cruise out of San Juan we knew we wanted to stay here for a few nights pre-cruise. The inn is in a great location, everything you need or want is only a short drive away. They have beach chairs, beach towels, and coolers to borrow for a day at the beach. The continental breakfast is delicious - fresh fruit, yogurt, homemade bread, cereal, hard boiled eggs, coffee, tea, juice, etc. The rooms are clean, spacious, comfortable, and each room has a refrigerator. We loved the company of the four dogs (Casper, Leona, Brownie, and Lucy), it made us feel right at home since we have three dogs of our own. The beautiful sounds of nature, the tropical breeze, and the beautiful view are relaxing and breath taking. Michael, Pedro, Marco, and staff are very hospitable, they treat you like family. They are building a beautiful pool area which we can't wait to see. We will return again and we will recommend this inn to others.

If you are looking for a nice bed and breakfast with an excellent country side location, this is the place. Super clean, very relaxing and the place is one of kind to stay at. Very welcoming. Easy access to everything and only short ride to attractions, do not waste money at the chains. This is a hidden gem.

We spent two nights at Ceiba Country Inn. It is a very peaceful Bed & Breakfast located on the edge of the rainforest on the east coast of Puerto Rico. Our room was cozy and clean and the bed was not bad. The temperature was perfect for opening the windows and listening to the sounds of the rainforest all night long. We loved it! We spent the evenings sharing a bottle of wine on the second story patio chaise lounge chairs with a nice view of the city and the ocean below. The continental breakfast was very nice with fresh tropical fruit and yummy breads (like banana bread or scones) as well as cereal and yogurt. This is not a five star hotel but I wonderful place to lose yourself for a few days while checking out the rainforest and the ocean on this side of Puerto Rico.
