We stayed in tower 3, 17th floor. The buildings and property seem a bit run down. No luxury accommodations here. They have 24hrs security and the property is gated. You feel safe inside. Lots of homeless cats everywhere. Property is close to El Yunque rainforest. The beach behind the property was nice, clear water. The best part of the condo was the view from the balcony. Be careful about going out at night. The projects are down the street. I had to drive through it since they had a marathon going on and the streets were closed. I did go out at night with my 2 young girls. We walked across the street to the King Seafood restaurant. I asked the security guard if it was ok. He advised not to go walking around at night being a lady with kids, but across the street is fine. I had a pocket knife on me just in case. You must have a car if your going to stay at Playa Azul.
