My chilean girlfriend and I ate at Las Gemelitas during our week long vacation in Mancora. By the way, I'm a gringo. We are huge peruvian food enthusiasts and wanted to find awesome peruvian food in Mancora. For starters we ate cebiche mixto which was good, but not spectacular. The seafood really did not taste fresh. For our main course I ate the tortilla longosta/lobster. It was a big portion and tasted good, but lacked in flavor. She had the arroz chaufa with mariscos/seafood. Again, was a big portion and good, but lacked in flavor. The choices for beer/cerbeza were Pilsen and Brahma.....enough said :( The prices were not expensive. The dishes were priced accordingly for the type of restaurant, quality of food, and location. The service was a little slow and not service oriented. In other words it lack in quality.
*Note: the music being played was horrible! The young workers were playing what sounded like Reggeton music, which is not pleasant music for eating. I would recommend changing the music to something different, maybe a bit slower and better for the customers, not what the workers want to listen to.
A ok restaurant, but would not go back again.
