“heavenly food”
Reviewed 24 January 2010

A restaurant called Manna located in an old vicarage surrounded by lush gardens might be expected to serve heavenly food, and this intimate cafe certainly does. Serious about coffee, I wasn't disappointed when I first went to Manna for a full-on breakfast of Eggs Royale and freshly squeezed juices. I returned with friends who hadn't heard of this secret place (it's quite hard to find as it is off Toorak Road behind the Toorak Uniting Church) and had Japanese-inspired nori wrapped Atlantic salmon with pomegranate aioli. My friedn raved about her Reuben sandwich. salads are also big here. But what maybe the most heavenly delights here are the cakes-all home made.
