We stayed here for 2 nights and had an amazing time. We upgraded to the spa suite with all the creature comforts you could hope for including our own private patio area with seats & sunloungers....shame it rained when we were there though but it didn't detract from the overall experience. There is a lounge with books, games & a piano. Our hosts Lindsay & Jo went out of their way to ensure you had the perfect stay & were amazing hosts, we left feeling part of the family. Molly was simply gorgeous & was so excited to meet and greet you and show you to your room. Breakfast was a huge 3 courses.....what a way to start the day with too many delicious options on offer!!!

We spent just a night there, but it was really worth and wishing to spend more time. The breakfast was lovely, and also the room and the views outside. Great service!

Lindsay & Jo are friendly & down to earth and made us feel welcome. Our room was private & spacious with a lovely view to the snow capped mountains. We loved the gardens & the sitting room with its range of musical instruments and only wished we had more time to enjoy the place. We arrived very tired but left refreshed & relaxed. :)

We chose this place as one of two luxury B&B nights during our 4 week stay in NZ. As advertised, the breakfast was indeed superb and could not be faulted. However, this is an extremely overpriced place and did not constitute the 'luxury' stay expected. The bed was bouncy/uncomfortable, the decor was trying to be upmarket but failed miserably even from an Ikea standard. Paying extra for wifi access was cheeky and it was not sufficiently clear from the advertising that all spa facilities required additional payment. Though the shower was good, for the price paid, we would have expected a bath. The hosts were charming, a pity that the owners had prescribed a formula for this establishment which only shone through at breakfast.

This really is a very special place. We only stayed one night but wished we had booked for more. The rooms are very well appointed and the views magnificent. The breakfasts indeed are to die for! Best in NZ. And all very reasonable. Even more, the hosts were very friendly and helpful, even by New Zealand's high standards, they were special. If we ever go back to South ISland we will head for this establishment.
