They just asked for a donation to breast cancer. We gave $20 and also got to wash the car there. The shower had excellent temperature and pressure. Much appreciated after 2 dusty days camping on the Molesworth road.

We stayed in a cabin with a public bath and shower. We didn't know what to expect but once we adjusted it was fine. We thought it was a motel and not a cabin. They do have rooms with full services but didn't know it. NZ is expensive in general and this was less expensive than the motel rooms. It was fine, service was good and decent location.

First stay at this top ten and staying in a newly renovated motel unit for 2 adults and 4 kids. Great for kids as there's plenty to keep them active and carts always a must. Very close to town . Toilets and kitchen could do with a renovate but acceptable. Office staff very helpful . Nice unit with everything we needed. Will return for sure.

We enjoyed our 3 nights stay here in our bus although think some of the powered sites could be more level - we have leveling rams and it was still difficult...campervans without levelers could find some sites uncomfortable. We received a nice welcome from management, very important to us.
We were impressed with the park generally, facilities for children were excellent with both static, safe climbing equipment as well as motorised fun. A pool could be a bonus. Ablution areas could be checked and cleaned more regularly during the day - quite a bit of rubbish accumulating on the floors. BUT a lovely stay and would recommend to others.

Very friendly service and able to accommodate us at the last minute despite it being peak season. Greeted by friendly, chatty young man on arrival, however the older chap who checked us out was a little cold. Nice tent pitch with good ground and clean kitchens/bathrooms. A little pricey but wouldn't hesitate to recommend Top 10, as a pose to the Pines where the campground manager is erratic (see other review).

This is our 2nd tour of the South Island in a campervan and we've always relied on the Top 10 brand to deliver high quality facilities, often paying around 20% more for it. If you're in a campervan what really matters is clean, well appointed toilets and showers and in this case the Hamner Springs Top 10 is a bit of a let down. Compared to Fox Glacier or Richmond (just outside Nelson) the toilets and showers especially are outdated and only seem to be cleaned once every 24 hours. With wet weather, they have been pretty grubby. There is only one sink in the ladies' toilet with no hot water and one of the 2 toilet cubicles at our end of the site had run out of paper. We paid $46 a night for our powered site so expect a little better.

Used a motorhome powered site. A very pleasant, clean park with a variety of sites for different needs (powered/non-powered/tented/cabins). Nice facilities for kids. A 10 minute walk from town. Kitchen; BBQ; showers;bathroom facilities on-site. Clean and reasonably well maintained....

Room Tip: sites near 32 are quiet and pleasant but near faciilties.
