this is our second stay and there wont be a third! We stayed in a lovely looking one room wooden unit. It cost $185 for our family of 3. So we were all sleeping in the one room i.e. the lounge. We had one tiny noisey fan heater about the size of my outstretched palm. It was -4 degrees! There were no electric blankets on the beds. The ceramic tiles in the bathroom were so frozen we had to put shoes on to go in.
We had to turn the tv volume up over the noisey fan heater, and couldnt run the heater while sleeping due to the noise. I cannot understand in an alpine village why there is no heating.
The walls were thin between units and we were woken nice and early (grrrr) by neighbours opening cupboards, talking, tv, laughing. Normal early morning stuff, but insufficient noise installation between units.
It is in a great location near thermal pools and food places. But it was way overpriced and our most expensive accommodation of our touring trip. We did stay another night at another place in Hanmer so check my review for that.
