We had a great honeymoon at this hotel! It is located at the end of a long strip of beach (Cote d'Or), which means that there are not a lot of people walking by, making it a very secluded spot. All of the people that stayed at the hotel were very quiet and kept to themselves, which added to the sense of seclusion. The hotel has an excellent infinity pool with magnificent views! The beach at the hotel is also fantastic! Not great for swimming because it is quite shallow, but nice just to walk around and spot some sharks or manta rays, or do some snorkeling. And the hotel staff will take you with a boat (free of charge) to a nearby secluded beach that is great for swimming, and is just a nice place to see anyway. We also really enjoyed walking along the Cote d'Or - there is an awesome beach around every corner! The small village, Anse Volbert, is not far away and is worth a visit. We bought cool drinks and beer there (at a fraction of the cost at the hotel!), as well as snacks.
The food at this hotel is fantastic! Breakfast is served basically on the beach. Great view, excellent coffee! Dinners were always a highlight, everything tasted great and was very well presented. And you can see the fish swimming in the sea while you eat...
We have only one criticism of this hotel. Because drinks are extremely expensive at any hotel in the Seychelles, we generally did not order any drinks (apart from a water here and there) during dinner. The staff generally did not make us feel like this was okay. But we really couldn't afford it, and I think that they should be more understanding that some people are on a budget.
