We spent a week here at a lovely Cottage called Honeymug. On site is great with pool, gym, tennis court, play area and games room. There is also a lake nearby which was a lovely walk in the sunshine. The views nearby are fab. We spent most days in the car but equally cycling and walking would be great to do. Owners are very helpful and this is a great base to explore Northumbria's beaches, castles and lovely villages.

We stayed in Heathery at the end of March 2014. The cottage was very well equipped, very clean and comfortable in fact a home from home. The swimming pool, steam room etc was an added bonus. Very impressed with the set up and would recommend to anyone.

No doubt you will be reading these reviews trying to decide where to stay! Look no further...book a Breamish Valley Cottage. Just back from a truly relaxing week (14-21 march). Cottage is cosy, comfortable, extremely clean and furnished to a high standard. We took a break having just had a bereavement and BVC was the very best place to be. The indoor pool is an added luxury. Can highly recommend.

Have stayed at Breamish many times but after a lengthy break decided to return; we weren't disappointed. Stayed in Souter Pot; comfortable, clean, well appointed and cosy accommodation, the usual high standard! Took advantage of the very well equipped gym while my better half enjoyed on-site holistic therapy from Melanie! There are new cottages too and we were fortunate to be allowed a viewing....they are quite stunning.....beautifully appointed. So good that we'll book again this year and try one of them out. Overall a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Room Tip: The new cottages have full length picture windows enjoying lovely views to the grounds, loch and bey...

This was the second time my family had stayed at these cottages and it was just as good as the first time. The cottages are very well equipped and well invested (ie the opposite of old and tired) and importantly, the beds are comfortable and the shower works well. There are walks which can be done from the cottages themselves, the games room, pool and fitness suite offer plenty of alternatives and the coast is only 30 minutes away. Overall, plenty to keep the whole family occupied for a few days, even in poor weather.

Our 3rd visit to these lovely cottages. Previously stayed in Castle Close which is excellent, however, this time decided to try Comby Hills. Comby Hills is one of the newer cottages and is very spacious and decorated to a high standard. This cottage benefits from getting the sun on the morning through the large picture windows. There are patio doors onto the lawned area and thankfully the weather when we stayed was very sunny and allowed us to sit outside at times for coffee. The pool was great , though the spa bath was far too hot to enjoy, needs turning down a couple of degrees. This holiday is ideal for those wanting a quiet base to tour the local areas, or those wanting to have a healthy week walking in the local area or using the fitness suite and pool area. Highly recommend these cottages. Many thanks for another wonderful stay.

Lets start this with an admission, before Breamish Valley Cottages I didn't do holiday cottages, I spent my vacation time in big & expensive hotels, but hey a week in Breamish and I am convert.

Very well designed, beautifully furnished, extremely professionally managed and all in a perfect position to tour Northumberland, what more could a little fella ask for.

The ability to visit for example Craster, pick up an big bag of scallops, drive back to the cottage in the evening and enjoy scallops and a bottle of wine in front of a blazing log fire, now thats relaxation.

I should also add that one of the true measures of the quality of a venue is what happens when things go wrong, in our case the heating and water system failed while we were staying. No fault of the owners, technology breaks. However the speed & efficiency of the staff, owners and even the plumber were a credit to them, what could have been a disaster became merely something to smile about.
So thank you Breamish Valley Cottages for a job well done, I am converted

Room Tip: Just ask the owners, all of the cottages are excellent some are just bigger than others
