We spent just one night at this camp on a fast moving tour of Uganda. The camp is situated on a hillside overlooking Mburo NP and the lake in the distance. There is a restaurant and bar area then a number of large tents scattered around the site. Each tent is under a roof and has a wash/dressing room, shower room and toilet. There toilet is a flush toilet and the shower is filled by staff at your request with hot water. All this works well, the staff being very attentive to your every need. Each tent also has a veranda which provides a pleasant place to sit and enjoy the view and stars at night.
The restaurant is very nice to relax in and enjoy a meal and drinks. Again the service is very good. We were a little disappointed with our evening meal, the service was fine and the food was good however it was a little plain. The sauce on the main course lacked any real flavour.
I do not know the cost of our stay as it was part of a per paid tour so can't really comment on value for money. If the price is right it is a grey place to stay for a night or two where you will feel part of the landscape.
