It's quite away from Madikeri town but at the same time, this is good because the location gives an amazing view of the Coorg estates over the hills and peace of mind is what you obtain from this place ✌
The people, are exemplary of the unparalleled kindness and hospitality found among the Coorg people there.
I stayed here with friends for 3 nights, it was a trip made for complete relaxation and that is what we got in return in abundance. Very neatly maintained property and most courteous people I have come across in the near past.
The home stay is absolutely great, the hospitality, food, cleanliness everything exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spacious and the nature was filling in and around. Clean and Green everywhere!
The place is so well maintained that you feel like settling down here. Everything is vey clean and even the smallest details are taken care of to make you feel at home. The host was very thoughtful and made sure that spice level of the food too was adjusted as per our palette.
I have gone many places but haven't come across this kind of hospitality. There are Coffee plantations from where the views of nature are excellent
I would never feel bored visiting this place again and again
Thank you Leena Poovaiah (Owner) for making us feel at home, hale, healthy and hearty!
Thank you Lava (Maintenance) for providing us all that we required during our stay.
Last but not the least, Thank you Sonam (Master Chef) for the delicious food you prepared and filling our tummies as per our taste just like we have at our home.
Thank you all
We had wanted to visit Copper Hill Villas in February and are thankful to be in the resort again recently. Our plan was a six - night stay but only managed to secure four due to the high occupancy during our visit. We live and work in the city and coming here is not only a great escape but a total serenity for the mind and soul. We basically did nothing except admiring the nature, eating, sleeping, praying and cathing up with loved ones over the phone. The internet connectivity is good here albeit in the middle of no where. I wrote a review after the first visit in November mentioning the service and cleanliness that were excellent but weren't sure this time around. We were delighted to see the same well-maintained rooms and they had even added a new room with a grand view of the Madikeri coffee plantation. Note that there's a high - in demand suite on the top floor which is excellent if you need some privacy. The owner was kind enough to take us around and explained the concept behind the resort and plans they have to enhance the facilities of this lovely property. I suggested having a mini Spa perhaps and the owner already had this in mind;);)
The staff was lovely and helpful and the food was very good. There is a good selection of veg/non veg and they also serve tasty Chinese food. Tea and snacks are also available so you need not worry too much about food. This is a peaceful resort and guests are encouraged basically to do nothing, relax at the lounge or simply breathe in the fresh air here. We were refreshed and felt lighter after spending a few days at the Copper Hill Villas. It felt like we had attended a detox program but it was actually a simple changes in our diet coupled with a serenity environment
It is an amazing experience wherein we could find exactly what we were looking for. The calmness and peace in the lap of nature. The property is such, it feels like its a tree house. Food is tremendously delicious. The best location to stay in coorg
Would love to visit again and stay here
2.The property is neat and clean
2.Food is costly
Overall rating -3.5/5
This resort is located in the north of Mardekeri, approximately five hours drive from Bangalore city. It is a new resort opened slightly more than a year ago. We were not very sure of what to expect as we have never stayed in a hill resort in India before. After spending a few nights in Copper Hills, we love it so much and had only ONE regret; we could have trusted other guests who provided positive feedback here on TA. It is not a five star resort but this place is amazingly clean. When we reached , the first thing I looked out for is the bed. The pillows smelled so fresh and clean and the bed was very comfortable. I went to the extent of checking the quality of mattresses & mind you, they use the same quality as five star international hotels. We wanted to be sure that the place is safe and hygienic enough for us to really enjoy our holiday over the next few days. I like to be quite detailed when it comes to cleanliness and the staff here deserve a pat on the back! They looked after us very well; from the house keeping team who made up our room daily to the in-house chef who makes excellent Indian and Chinese food. Chef Sonam surprised us with his culinary skills one evening by making us Chinese Pao Zi. It was excellent. It taste very similar like the ones we had in Beijing. Just let him know what you'd like to have and he will try to satisfy your cravings. The manager of the resort was also friendly and assisted us in many ways during our stay.
Inhale the refreshing air here; please forget about work for a while. Connect with your loved ones. You can go for a walk nearby and enjoy the scenic view. There's so much of serenity in this place that you don't want to leave. We are going there again and planned for end of January but the rooms are quickly selling out. We have to postpone it till early Feb. I heard the owner is planning to extend a few more rooms in the near future. We can't wait to go to Copper Hills again in February and this time with the whole family! Thank you Copper Hills for all you do!
We always miss ghar wali feeling when we go on holiday. But at this home stay (it was not hotel type) u didn't miss your home. It was spacious home with a nice view. We check-in at the hotel in the afternoon and went for sight seeing. Since we were moving around, we didn't get a chance to have lunch and dinner at the hotel. But we got the chance to have breakfast. It was nicely cooked. Aloo paratha served with desi dahi was too good and yummy. The coffee and tea had local Coorg flavor and it was awesome. The only issue is that location is bit inside. You have to be careful while driving at night. The native speaking driver helped us to reach safely. Also make sure you have prior booking since they have 6 to 7 rooms. Overall amazing experience. "
We stayed at copper hill villa for 4 nights in the 1st week of November. It is located about 30 kms from kushal nagar & 8 kms distance from madikeri town.
The drive to this place is very scenic & copper hill villa is located at a peaceful & picturesque location. My husband, I & our 15 month old son were looked after very well. Our room was comfortably furnished. The support staff is very helpful & attend to you courteously. I must mention that the food was exceptionally good & served on time. They were nice enough to prepare meals for our little one every morning, before we left for sight seeing.
Since we drove down from Bangalore, we found it comfortable to navigate around. It is necessary that you have a vehicle of your own to fully explore this area.Go beyond the usual tourist spots. There are many hidden treasures in Coorg.
Thanks again to Leena, lava, manju & Sonam for taking good care of us.
