I guess resort means sprawling grounds. They have old cars that they use to transport people to their rooms. The rooms are in duplex bungalow buildings with little porches. Basic but nicely furnished, quite new. They were building a multi-story, more hotel looking building while I was there. Bit of a hike back to the building where the restaurant is. Not unusual for Burma, there was no hot water in the shower late afternoon. Later in the evening it was fine. The wifi only works in the restaurant and reception building. I did not partake but heard from others in my group that the spa is fabulous! It's in the building across the pool from the restaurant, nothing really to indicate it's there but the massage service is great and very reasonably priced.
