“Scenic”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 December 2013 via mobile

Came here for lunch and tried their local produced wines. First thing first when we sat in their open concept restaurant, the view took my breath away.. looks so beautiful and calm. The food were great and fantastic. The wines especially the white (Chenin blanc) were refreshing. The only set back was the flies as from what I've told there is a farm nearby. But I'm sure that something can be done to improve that. But overall it's a great experience

“Good food, nice wine, splendid view”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 October 2013

It takes time to grow a good wine. After 15 years of operation PB wine has finally reached that point. Accompanied by a home-grown duck confit and a beautiful landscape, you get a good alternative to traditional Thai cousine once you get bored of it :)

From wines served there, I would recommend PB Shiraz (not the 'reserve', the regular one).

“Unfortunately very wet”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 October 2013

With 4 Golfer friends I visited PB Valley on 20.9.13
It is a beautiful scenery even in rain. On the way back, we had to take due to flooding, a second exit.
I myself grown up in a wine making village (Maienfeld Switzerland) interested in winemaking will soon come back.
In the Restaurant we met a friendly staff.

Dear Mr. Albin R.
We like to thank you for taking the time to write about us on Tripadvisor and giving us good remarks in general. Re the wet part we like to comment that the road over the litle weir is actually passable even though it carries some water on occasions. Anyhow as you already entionned we have two entrances to PB Valley so visitors can enjoy the hospitality at the Great Hornbill Grill 365 days a year. We do hope that we can welcome you, your family and friends again in the not too far future - cheers
