Had such a wonderful time at Samed Resort. The bungalows were nice and clean and great value for money compared to other resorts on the island, which were very expensive.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly and I spent many nights relaxing in the lovely chill out restaurant enjoying great food and good cocktails.
The garden and resort is kept beautiful by the staff...they work really hard to keep it looking clean and tidy. They also have very friendly doggies! :)
I really liked the location as it was a pleasant 20 min stroll to the main beach and it was nice and quiet for sleeping. Samed is set back away from the main busy beach bars and restaurants...but easy to get there and back by motorbike or taxi for a reasonable price.
What a great place to stay...will definately be returning there in future! :)

What an amazing place we stumbled on when visiting Koh Samet. We planned on going for 3 days and ended up staying for nearly 3 weeks. We felt so welcome and looked after. We had lots of fun with the staff and met some really good friends for life. Looking forward to going back and having some more of my favourite dishes on the menu, I highly recommend the yellow curry and the kra pow, they are both yummy. The rooms are very clean and really resonably priced and if you fancy giving wake boarding ago it's a great place to try it.

I was travelling with a group. Instead of our prebooked twin rooms we were given doubles with single mattresses on the floor! They had no twins! They took our booking under false pretences. They would not give us a refund so we had to pay again somewhere else. We did look at the rooms, they weren't nice, the hotel staff completely horrible, the resort was close to rubbish piles and the beach here horrible. We moved to a new place and had a great time. Stay away from Samet Resort.

This Resort is a gem! The huts are somehow basic, but clean and overall a perfect value for the price. Free WIFI-Internet, a pool billiards table, table tennis and a restaurant/bar with most friendly and helpfull staff. Most other resorts in the neighborhood hardly have space between the coast the street and the jungle, but the Samed-Resort is spacious. A perfect deal for us (3 adults, 2 children) to explore the island and relax.

this is an idyllic little spot on the north coast of koh samed, which fortunately hasn't been spoiled by tourists. it is the perfect place to chill on a private beach with no hassle, soak up the sun and eat the best food in thailand. the staff are very friendly, ever so helpful and can't do enough to help. the facilities are great including free wifi, snooker, table tennis, badminton, volleyball, snorkelling cable tv, thai cooking lessons and much much more. the rooms are nicely decorated and kept very clean plus surprisingly cheap. they have both fan and air con rooms too

the only bad thing i can find to say about it is that i was so sad when i had to leave to come home. a truly special place!
