A brand new resort, runned by young and ambitious people. The resort exists of spacious cabins on a slope at Pinneapple beach, just a 5 minute walk from the main beach where it all happens. Everyday house keeping cleaned our room, gave us new towels and two bottles of water. The staff is really friendly end will do everything to make it comfortable for the guest.

We stayed here at the end of our half year during trip. We planned to stay 4 nights, in the end we stayed 6 nights. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely come back if we visit Thailand again.

Room Tip: Doesn't matter if you pick seaview or gardenview, both is beautiful.

Baan Supparod is part of the larger Sai Kaew group, and they have transformed a hillside adjacent to the larger [and more expensive] resort with small trendy decorated chalet type bungalows, and a very pleasant reception / dining area. The resort itself is some 500 metres from the main beach area, - however, you can "illegally" walk through the neighbouring property along the rocky beach, and access into the rear of the main Sai Kaew beach resort without being challenged, - if this route was made more legitimate it would prevent walking along the higher inland road which has [very dangerous] speeding pick-up trucks, that drive without any care for pedestrians.. The sea frontage at Baan Supparod is rocky, and it is not an easy access to swim, - there is no swimming pool.
The sea view, and peaceful surrounding make for a great stay, - the breakfast is not included, but at THB 185 [US$6] per person, for unlimited coffee and choice of cooked breakfast with fruit etc, Baan Supparod provides good value. The ferry transfer is included, [ again using the Sai Kaew resort ferry] 3 times per day, and the pick up & transfer is smooth.
The staff are charming and helpful, the Wi-Fi was faultless, and the rooms are bright, clean and tidy with very effective AC. There is a small fridge in the room, and water is provided daily, however, there is no room safe.
The access up and down to the rooms [due to hillside location] does involve quite a few steps, and this would prove more difficult for children and older people.
Baan Supparod has raised the accommodation standard of Koh Samed, and is deserving of future success. We would certainly stay again.

Room Tip: Rooms # 101 / 102 & 103 are directly facing the sea.

My girlfriend and I stayed here on April 2014 for 4 days while visiting Koh Samet. This newly built place is located on a great secluded part of the island. although you can't swim in the ocean right in front of you because of the rocky shore, it is a great place to relax at night after a long day at the beach. The manager of the place was really nice and helpful. He spoke very good english (hard to find in Thailand) and was always making sure we were always well taken care of. They even lend out beach towels for the day for you to take and return at the end of the day for them to wash for you. The bungalows are newly built, clean, and colourful. The only thing I would recommend is that you hire a motorbike to get around (they are usually about 300Thai Bath a day) because its about 10 min walk to the main street and a 20 min walk to the main beach. Overall this a great place to relax and enjoy a beautiful island get away.

Baan Supparod has lots of charm and the service was exceptional. Set within walking distance of the action but in a secluded little bay, it felt like a perfect restful getaway. It's beautiful, clean and lovingly decorated. I recommend this place - it has a lot of heart. Special thanks to Khun PK who looked after us, patiently, kindly with great humor and grace. Thank you to everyone for a wonderful stay.

This resort is gorgeous, we stayed here to get away from songkran in Pattaya for the weekend - this place is just beautiful, charming, quiet and very clean. The booking included the ferry and transfers which we found great value for money. Staff were very attentive and greeted us upon arrival with drinks etc.. we were shown to our Garden Room which was in such a peaceful setting where we could still see the sea. The room was of perfect proportions and very clean with crisp white linen on the bed. We did have some friendly ants in the room - but nothing unusual with that in Thailand. We had breakfast on one out of the 3 mornings we were there and it was quite frankly breakfast fit for a king - excellent food, service and accommodation. We are already looking forward to returning here!!

This trendy hotel was just the thing we needed to have a relaxing weekend away from the protests of Bangkok! This hotel is on a rocky beach about a 7 minute walk down the road from Sai Kaew beach, which was perfect because you get the bars and restaurants but you also get the quiet at night (and very comfortable beds!) The rooms were brightly colored and the lobby was so cute I couldn't stop taking pictures of how trendy and chic it looked. I would definitely stay here again!

Attentive staff, clean bungalows, gorgeous view, fair quality/price ratio (but safe should be installed in the rooms). We enjoyed the colorful "rainbow" style and the gay friendly attitude. Looking forward to come back.
