Stayed in one the so-called garden-view rooms, but since construction is going on, not much of a view. Also, very noisy. Worse still was that the building is next to the hotel's workshop, which generates so much noise of its own (not related to the construction site), that you feel like you're living in a hardware store. At dusk I went to the front desk to complain -- you have to go in person because there are no phones in the room. The lady at the desk was helpful and made the workers stop the noise. Unfortunately, it turns out that the work area is also the gathering place for off-duty staff, and by 9pm the place was noisy again with staff engaged in extremely loud conversation, the crackling static of walkie-talkies turned to full volume punctuating the air, so that we could hear everything clearly in our room despite our closed windows. I again went to the front desk, and within ten minutes they made sure their own staff were quiet. That's when the noise from the nearby disco kicked in.
All in all, a very unpleasant experience. (On the plus side, very firm mattress so that eventually was able to get a decent sleep, once the disco closed.)
