Really great beach - lovely warm water, clean beach. Absolutely fantastic but they need to limit the number of boats coming each day - too many, too noisy.

We rented a bike for the time we visited and it's just a short ride from any of the hotels on the east side (about 8-10 minutes). There are a couple of posh resorts at Ao Prao but loads of space for you to unwind and step into the cool waters. It's a super romantic spot of couples and also a calm area to collect to shells/rocks! It is in an alcove/bay area so it's very scenic. If you take a motorbike, you will have to park it just 3 minutes away from the beach's entrance, and the same thing if you decide to take the taxis. They do not allow cars/motorbikes inside the beach area. Such a hidden gem, make sure to spend some time and grab a drink at the beachside restaurant.

Lovely beach to visit, not to busy and beautiful views. If you can stay at the Samed resort there, looks very sophisticated and pricey but worth a treat for special occasion!

This beach have less resort than Sai kaew. You can play at the beach even you didn’t stay at any resort here.

It is a shame it only has three luxurious resorts and no space left for some more budget options. But the beach is clean, you get your sunset, which is rare for Samed. And it has got space!!! If you can spend the money go here and get a motorbike as the other side is only 5 minutes drive where you can visit many restaurants and bars if you like.
