“Great location to ski the Arlberg”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 March 2014

With the new gondola access to Lech, Warth is a really lovely location for a ski holiday. Quiet and charming with only a handful of hotels, it is much more peaceful than Lech, Zurs or St. Anton. This hotel is well run with polite staff and good facilities. Rooms vary greatly in size depending on location within a maze like set of buildings. It is big but seems to avoid feeling too crowded. Food is good and also very plentiful but overall the hotel is quite expensive for what it is.

Paid 7000 euro for 7 nights for a suite, room was smaller than expected but great views, great swimming pool for the kids and even for the adults. Sauna area not impressed at all! They where understaffed so the room was not cleaned properly daily. The food was a disaster for me, they tried to make it good and nice but they have no clue how to handle it out of 7 dinners I enjoyed 1 only the cheese fondue. happy to be home and never again. In my opinion they need a sommelier who can bring sue class to the dinner and they need hire a good chef who can deal with the nice products they use!

Room Tip: take steffisalp hotel instead of better go lech

We stayed there with our family (2 small kids). We got a big room with a "sofa bed" for two. The hotel room was o.k.. Bathroom seemed to be renovated, bedroom had the typical austrian style. I don't know how the rooms in the newer part of the hotel look like. Maybe they look a bit more up-to-date. Breakfast and dinner have really a high quality. We did not miss anything. Buffet was excellent as well as the dinner, which was served to the table.
The wellness area is nice. There is an open air-pool which was quite warm, even at -20°C. Sauna and the other wellness stuff was separated from the pool. That are can get crowded, it the hotel is fully booked.
Skiing: Hotel is 50 m away from the lift station. The ski-area is super for an extended weekend. Of course it cannot be compared with St. Anton or Lech but there are a lot of possibilities für the advanced skiers. Disadvantage is, that the the tracks are short - advantage is, that even on a sunny saturday you do not have to wait to long at the lift. Why? - because it takes some time to get there by car.

A 4 star hotel with an EasyJet feeling
I was sufficiently unimpressed. I found the staff at the front desk incredibly arrogant and the hotel itself charged for every little thing they could get away with. Of course when you are paying an arm and a leg for the week of christmas what's another couple of bucks. You may even considerer a soda here or there a rounding error. Charging to use the safe? Never heard of that before but ok. If they need the Euro 10 that badly then what can I say. Again it's a drop in the bucket with a weekly rate for an all-inclusive hotel so exorbitant. What really got me upset was how they handled New Years Eve. We wanted to reserve a table in the bar after dinner and were told that this is not possible. But yet all the tables were in the end reserved. We were actually asked to leave. They reserved the tables only for non-hotel guests. We were expected to celebrate New Year Eve at our dinner table far away from where the music was playing. I guess the more tables they sell the more money they make? But at whose expense? I would have not expected to be treated so badly at a **** hotel. It definately was not worth the money and I will not go back.

We were 7 friends on a motorcycle tour and this was our last stop before going back to Munich. The Hotel is nice, I took of a star because I have been to other Ski resorts that are better and is quite complicated to go from one place to another, was not sure if they had signs in english.

We used the swimming pool which was quite different, the food was very good, by far the best hotel of the trip. I had a massage at the SPA, very professional!

The rooms are ok but could not find english programming on the tv.

We only stayed one night but it seems it might be a very good family oriented Hotel for Ski Vacations.

one of the first and still the best Wellness-Hotels in the Alps, we visiting it since 20 years and could see their continious efforts to enhance and improve it, which was wisely executed. This time we enjoyed in particular the excellent food, taste as well as presentation, outstanding.
