What can i say, you get what you pay for, this play is old and tired, though the pictures may not relay this in the website.
Let me first explain what this place is, for use English speaking folk. Pertisauerhof is an oversized house which is part of a group of oversized houses that belong to the Kyrista[ll] group which span a street. At the end of the street is the main hotel, (oversized A frame). It says its 3 star, hardly more like 2 at best.
Lets talk room first. I book basically one side of a top floor wing of the guest house, the rooms were clean, but very well worn. The carpets, had holes, there were palnks of wood under the beds to support the mattress on one of the beds. nails in knobs to hold them in place.
Ok, eating, we went half pension ie breakfast, you have to dress up leave the house stroll 100m down the hill to the main Krysta [ll] building, yep that A frame because the kitcken and dining room weren't open. At the Aframe, god forbid don't sit where you like because a house guest "read some one who is staying in the A frame might want to sit there" I'll get to this in a minute.
Breakfast was pretty standard German style, cold meats, bread etc suplimented with Western Sytle, eggs, bacon etc.
Staff in this place ranged from very friendy and helpful to outright rude. It seems that a standard of training across the staff for customer service has not been set which obviously equated to the vast difference in professionalism and attitude.
The "policy" of Guest house patrons first in relation ot dining room sitting, over those from the guest houses came to a crux when we saw a lady with two young child escorted to a dining area on the otherside of reception. This poor woman had to navigate two doors, the guest trying to book out whilst juggling breakfast for her family with no offer of help from the staff. This was an accident waiting to happen, not to mention how unprofessional it must of looked as this poor woman juggled her way through.
So, as a guest of the Pertisauerhof you can use the spa facilities of the main Krysta[ll] building. By the way the towels you are given are old and of a different kind. So when you arrive you don this apprial to look like the poor cousins from up the road. maginificent.
The spa facilites are good if not well wemll maintained. We saw the same bandaids in the plug holes in two separate shows 5 days in a row. It begs the question does this place get cleaned out hygenically, apart from the guests hosing things off?
By the way if you like beer, expect to pay 3 euro 50 cents for a 500ml beer.
Overall this place is a place to crash, don't expect friendly service, make sure your German is first rate, my is barely passable, good job for the wife. Unless you speak the language your mud and if you do but not from there then your tolerated at best.
I guess take all this on board, have your plan laid out and well good luck.
Ok, If you expect to eat in the Pe
