We chose this hotel as we wanted to visit the city of Graz. This is a part of Austria not often frequented by English speaking tourists. The staff at reception spoke good English as did many other staff, although not all, so some German is useful. We were given an information sheet in English but all other hotel information is in German.
The spa facilities include an indoor and outdoor swimming pool (average size), a small heated outdoor massage pool, a sauna, steam room, indoor massage pool and quiet zone. There is also a beauty salon offering facials, massages etc. Facilities were quite busy during the day but quieter in the evenings. Remember this is a part of Europe where nudity is acceptable in spa facilities so be prepared! This is also true if you have a massage.
Our room was a reasonable size with a balcony. It was pretty well sound proofed inside but the hotel opposite seemed to have some outdoor PA system which started up from time to time in the evenings and mornings. It didn't go on late but was a bit irritating. The bed was a good size and comfortable. The hotel is in a residential area and is pretty quiet although you do hear some noise from cars outside.
The breakfast was superb with every imaginable type of muesli, butter, bread and a hot counter with food cooked to order. However, make sure you sit inside as the wasps outside are most persistent. The hotel also offers a vegetarian dinner menu which was actually very good.
