Floralia has become an annual pilgrimage for me. The setting would be lovely without a million and a half flower bulbs in bloom, so with them it's absolutely stunning. The colours are wildly vibrant, and you'll find some interesting colour combinations. You can't avoid feeling happy just wandering amongst all the colours of the rainbow! There are some groomed flower beds and other places where the blooms create a bright pathway through the woods.
It's different from year to year. In my opinion, this isn't the best year, but it is definitely still a great way to spend a few hours. Especially when the weather's nice enough to sit outside with a drink and admire the view. If you enjoy photography, it's a fantastic way to get beautiful shots of flowers up close and practice moving around to get the best angle (especially if you don't want people in your pictures!). If you can avoid the busiest mid-day period (buses of tourist and big family outings), you'll enjoy it even more. I've been there in the past when there was almost no one else and that was magical. Same thing goes when there's a light rain.
Make sure your camera (or phone) is fully charged...and expect to be awed! You can also buy flowers and bulbs for your garden or balcony.
