The exhibition area is nice, as the overall atmosphere. Unfortunately, at the beginning of May most of the flowers are aged. The blossom time is gone, they should close the park earlier or reduce the fee when it is in such bad condition.
No maintanance, no people in charge of improve the flowers... nothing in comparison with Keukenhof.
If you would like to go there, go earlier!

Floralia has become an annual pilgrimage for me. The setting would be lovely without a million and a half flower bulbs in bloom, so with them it's absolutely stunning. The colours are wildly vibrant, and you'll find some interesting colour combinations. You can't avoid feeling happy just wandering amongst all the colours of the rainbow! There are some groomed flower beds and other places where the blooms create a bright pathway through the woods.

It's different from year to year. In my opinion, this isn't the best year, but it is definitely still a great way to spend a few hours. Especially when the weather's nice enough to sit outside with a drink and admire the view. If you enjoy photography, it's a fantastic way to get beautiful shots of flowers up close and practice moving around to get the best angle (especially if you don't want people in your pictures!). If you can avoid the busiest mid-day period (buses of tourist and big family outings), you'll enjoy it even more. I've been there in the past when there was almost no one else and that was magical. Same thing goes when there's a light rain.
Make sure your camera (or phone) is fully charged...and expect to be awed! You can also buy flowers and bulbs for your garden or balcony.

A very nice floral show near Brussels, around 15 min by train from Brussels Central Station. The large garden is near Groot Bijgaarden station and cost 12£ per adult. There are lots of beautiful tulips, daffodil, hyacinth and other bulbs. The floral show can make you feel like in Netherlands. I have spent 4 hours there to take many photos.

It is always a beautiful event! The flowers are fabulous, and there is always something new to see. Bring your cameras with you, as this location is idealic!
The only thing that could be improved on is the food and drinks offered. I am always disappointed that such a lovely place does not offer a bit more so I can sit and enjoy the scenery.
I am just always so excited to go through the castle gates to see what they have in store for us each year! The flowers are lovely, and it has become an anual tradition for our family.

If you are in Bruxelles in April (the flower show takes only one month) don't hesitate to visit Floralia. There are a lot of nice spring bulbs. We liked a lot the greenhouse (a lot of flower arangements, and we loved the rainbow roses - they are unbelievable - take a look on the site www.happycolors.info - you can also order flowers).
