After looking online for reataurants in De Haan to be open on a Wednesday, (which is really, really rare) we stumbled upon Bistro Villa Julia. Situated in a nice villa (the owner lives at the 2nd floor) the restaurant is quickly overlooked. But once entered the door, you receive a warm welcome and the even opened a special extra room for us to sit, as the restaurant was full. The hostess was really friendly and the food served was excellent. You can choose from 3 portion sizes, tapas, starter and main. As I was not that hungry, I only chose 3 starters, but my family chose starters and mains. It was not a problem at all and we all got served the same time. The atmosphere was nice, the toilets were a surprise, clean, red, mirrors. Overall the styling really fitted the whole restaurant. I would definitely come back, if I ever happen to visit De Haan again.
