All except breakfast is on 4-star level,
breakfast is 3+ :)
In a nutshell a very nice, quiet and convenient place with accessible and helpful personnel.
Location is excellent - in 2 steps to town park and 5 to marketsquare
Enjoy pretty details in furniture, but beware rafters on the 2nd floor.

Such a great place to stay in Veurne. Very close to the scenic market square. Private parking in the center of town. Very clean, free waters and a wonderful breakfast. All you can ask for in a B& B
Love the breakfast buffet with eggs made to order. Decorations are inspiring and can change from visit to visit

Room Tip: I personally prefer the classic rooms over the lofts. Rooms with garden view are wonderful

Visiting Veurne, we stopped here for lunch. Food was very good, in lovely surroundings. The building is beautiful.

The ice cream with advokaat dessert was really wow! Our friend had the E15 menu and was very pleased, the tapas are quite expensive, but some reasonably priced dishes on the menu too.

Very nice place.

We stayed at this B&B for one night on our way home from Cologne and were sorry that it was only one night. The building is absolutely stunning and has some lovely pieces of furniture and art work in the reception area.

We were shown to our room which was beautiful, overlooking the gardens which, even at the beginning of January, were lovely. The bathroom was large with a fantastic shower with lots of hot water. The bed was large and very comfortable.

The hotel is in a quiet area and only a 5 minute walk from the main square with its restaurants, cafes and bars. The breakfast room again was beautifully decorated and the breakfast excellent. Would certainly stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

The entrance to the building makes you feel entering a luxury castle more than a B&B. The amazement does not stop there: the reception, the ground floor, the stairways exude elegance of a bygone time.
I took a standard single room (room 3) at EURO 60 which is a bit simple and small, but very nicely decorated. Here I will just highlight 2 defects of relative importance:
- You can clearly hear your neighbor using the tap and taking a shower, or the lift working.
- There is no bed light, so if you want to read your book, the light is too bright.
My mum took the deluxe single room 5 at EURO 65, which is much better.
The breakfast is superb, with decent orange juice (not the powder type), excellent selection of bakeries, bread, croissant, spreads, cold cuts, and this included in the room price. We also took a lunch there, they have bistrot style focused on the dish of the day, which was a haddock fish with ratatouille... very good value with soup and coffee, local beer, EURO 35 for 2 people. The restaurant (not open during night time) is very nicely decorated and the service very friendly.
Looking at the price we pay, and the general atmosphere, this is an excellent option for a couple of nights if you have a car; Veurnes is a mini-Bruges (of much smaller size), and is a good basis to explore the Belgian coast.

Room Tip: Avoid standard single room 5

We stayed at The Old House in september for 1 night, The rooms are huge and spotlessly clean, the owners were very welcoming. I do not usually eat breakfast but the buffet they layed out was fantastic. Very much looking forward to staying again next year
