“tourist trap”
Reviewed 27 September 2013

Great location but very mediocre food! Côtes d'agneau (lamb chops) from an old sheep, consisting of 90% fat. A business built on visiteurs de passage, people who come once and never again. There are several, far more interesting restaurants around the corner at similar pricing.

“Good quality but overpriced”
Reviewed 14 July 2013

This restaurant commands one of the best locations in Baumes de Venise, just across the road from the fountain. We chose salads which although expensive at €14 were very good; good quality produce and well presented. We made the mistake of ordering desserts without thinking about the price though. Sorry but €8 for a dessert is too much; they were good but not that good !

The service was fine and the house wine was good. We wouldn’t return due to feeling that even for the location it was overpriced.

“Relaxing Lunch in Provence”
Reviewed 7 July 2013 via mobile

Grilled meats the best as alluded to in earlier review. Kid friendly. Great place for slow, relaxed French lunch in beautiful Provence village. Sit on the patio outdoors for sure for ambience.

“Love the café!”
Reviewed 15 June 2013

This is one of the best coffees you will find in the area. Great lunch.
We routinely stop here for coffee when cycling, which is every day!

“Great value, tasty food, friendly staff”
Reviewed 26 May 2011

Have visited the area 3 years running while my husband competes in the Mont Ventoux cycling race. We have eaten here for the past two years and both times it has been excellent. There is not much in the area so not a huge choice of where to eat and we stumbled across this one because it was the busiest. The steaks and brochettes of meat are cooked on a grill close to the outside seating and so the smell is amazing. Kid friendly and the wine is cheap but still good. The rose pitchet especially nice at only 5 Euros for a 50cl.
