“Everything was just perfect!”
Reviewed 24 October 2007

We spent the most wonderful 5 days here in August. From the superb and stylish large rooms and amazing bathrooms to the simple but refined food, fabulous pool and setting, and wonderful hosts - everything was just perfect. Wonderfully situated for either a relaxing or active stay. The wine farms and restaurants that Jerome recommended and booked for us were just wonderful too. Geraldine and Jerome deserve every success and we will certainly be back for more of this understated luxury!! Jenny & Steve, London

If you are looking for a stylish, tranquil place to stay in a gorgeous part of France: this is it! The owners Jerome and Geraldine live there and make you very welcome but stay very much in the background. The rooms have been created with outstanding attention to detail in a quite unique style. We spent our 25th wedding anniversary there and it could not have been a more perfect setting - only the Mistral was a bit mischievous! This place will not disappoint those seeking peace and solitude.

My husband and I stayed at the Clos last week. I have no words to express how great our experience was. The location was perfect, close to the best wine of the region, the house is gorgeous, cozy but still, it looked like pictures from a decoration magazine. Geraldine and Jerome are incredible hosts. We had a delicious dinner with them and a couple of other guests. We felt we were among old friends. They helped us find the best wineries and places to see, booked restaurants and made sure we had a wonderful stay. We left to Paris after 3 days at the Clos and for the first time I wished I skipped Paris from my trip...

My family and I just returned from 4 days in Paris and 7 days in Provence. The last 4 days of the trip we stayed at LeClos Saint Saourde, an old country farmhouse about 1 mile outside the quaint town of Beaumes de Venise. My wife and I have vacationed in Europe many times and let me tell you this place is special. From the time you walk thru the rod iron gate to the court yard you can see everything is perfect. The rooms are designed and decorated so unbelievable, they blew my wife away who is a designer back in the States. The pool is set so nice on the property, you have views of vineyards and the mountains while laying by the pool . The owners Geraldine and Jerome are very interesting and special people with a wonderful family . Its a beautiful property!!

Recently came back from a Trip in France where we had the chance to stay at "Le Clos Saint Saourde". It's in the Provence region, not far from Avignon and is so lovely.
The region first of all is beautiful and the food so good, don't even start me talking about the wine. The Guest house is located in the middle of the Beaume de Venise vineyards, a delicious sweet white wine which is made in that region.

The owners have recently bought the place and spent a lot of time and money to make this an enchanting place. Each room has a specific decoration, and the fact that part of the house is built makes it very original (see the pictures attached). There's a beautifull pool, a lot of space, and the owners are very warm and make you feel really at home.

It's just the place where I would've loved to had spent my honeymoon...

  • Liked — The place is amazing, very original decoration
