Four fairly elderly British tourists enjoyed a simple, but enjoyable meal at this restaurant. The staff was welcoming and the service excellent. The food well-prepared, fresh and tasty; even the coffee was good - not always the case in France. The carafe wine not too expensive and very acceptable.

When we are in the Luberon, we always visit La Louche á Beurre in Lourmarin. We feel at home here, warm and cosy atmosphere, and we are very happy with the food and the wine.
I must admit that we always order the same (because it is so good) : Saint Daniele "jambon cru" for entrée, it is so tender and has a "nutty" taste. As main course we have "côte de beuf" for two, or "faux filét grillé" with pommes frites and potato gratin with lots of delicious "sauce bearnaise", nam, nam, yummy.
As dessert we prefer crêpes with "Grand Marnier" flambé or "chocolat fondant".
The food is simple , but very tasty. We prefer the local wine such as "Le Verrerie" or " Constantin Chevalier " , but the winelist has other good wines too, and the prices for us, Scandinavians, are unbelievably low.
The lady who runs the place, is always there and greets everybody in a warm and included manner, we simply feel at home there.
Can therefore recommend the place, it is Provence in it`s best way, warm, cosy and relaxing.

We had a great evening here. What can one say about a crepe? Unless you read their menu and see all the different choices! On the night we were there, the place was full, inside and out so a booking seems vital. Service was excellent and very quick. Wine list was good with a fairly wide choice, and reasonable.

As mentioned before by others it is a creperie, but the meat is great (best we had in Lourmarin). The locals told us this place serves the best meat in town and they didn't lie. The price - food quality is good. It can be busy and making a reservation in advance is recommended.

nice place to sit for lunch or dinner. It's a crêperie, not a real restaurant. Friendly service, average food, and the tartare de boeuf is far to big for one person, and you order the gratin de pomme de terre with it you'll put on weight immediately. But a nice place to sit and watch the day fade out.
