We stayed here for four nights with our two children (aged 8 and 10) and grandparent. We took all the rooms and the layout was perfect - with the children in their own room connecting on to our bathroom.
Christine is an excellent hostess, giving us advice on what to see and where to eat, spotting when the children were getting tired and just wanted to stay in and have a pizza in the evening and even organising a hairdresser on request for my mother-in-law.
Breakfasts are more like brunch and delicious - Christine cooked asparagus for us which we'd seen in the markets and a wonderful courgette quiche.
Location is amazing, decor charming and very comfortable. Bathrooms super - especially enormous tub and large walk in shower.
This is the best b&b we've stayed at in France and it had our strongest recommendation.
Thank you Christine and pascal xxx

Christine runs a very beautiful guest house. We were made very welcome. Our room was spacious and very well appointed. Christine makes a marvelous breakfast! She knows a lot about the region and is so helpful in making reservations or directing you to beautiful places in and around Lourmarin.

We stayed in Christine's gorgeous home in November, 2013 during our first trip to Provence (we will be back!)

After much digging, we settled on Lourmarin as our base in Provence -- largely because of the great reviews I had read about Cote Lourmarin! We weren't disappointed and found it very easy to visit surrounding villages including Bonnieux, Lacoste, Gordes, Menerbes. Christine drew up a great itinerary for us, and even though it was a short trip it was jam-packed with places to see.

Christine's home is so well decorated and every little detail was taken care of. Thoughtfully-placed bushels of lavender, candles, books coupled with the beautiful furniture (that wardrobe!!) were truly memorable. I was also especially fond of the cups, saucers, and dishes Christine used during the daily breakfast service -- they were a work of art!

This has truly raised the bar for all other B&Bs. Thank you for the warm hospitality, Christine!

Room Tip: Only 2 rooms, both large and gorgeous, can't go wrong!

Christine is the perfect person to host a B&B in Provence. Our stay was perfect in every way, from the greeting to the last good bye. Having not experienced much of Provence before, this experience has set the bar extremely high. I can honestly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a picture perfect Provence stay. Thanks so much Christine. We loved our time with you.

Room Tip: Both rooms would be ideal.

On a recent trip to Provence we stepped in to Cote Lourmarin from a damp street on a chilly January evening to find ourselves welcomed by Christine into the most picture perfect Provencal home. We were shown into the guests sitting room with its crackling (and exceptionally aromatic) log fire, twinkling candles, and most surprising (and cheering) a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. We were imediately offered coffee which we gratefully accepted and sipped from tiny Limoges china cups accompanied by the most delicious chocolates, nougat and biscuits....basically this set the tone for the next two days. Delicious food, in exquisite surroundings with the kindest and most thoughtful hosts. I am not going to repeat the comments in the other reviews which are 100% correct. Our room, La Suite, is exactly as it appears in the photos and is as described elsewhere.... absolutely 5 star luxury but still cosy, homely and comfortable. For those who might not usually consider staying in a B&B (like us to be perfectly honest) I urge you to stay here. I cannot imagine that there are many (if any) B & B's like this in France or indeed the world! Christine and her husband Pascale are the most charming hosts, who seem genuinely delighted to have guests in their home. On our final evening they invited us to share a bottle of excellent local rose wine with them before we left them to have dinner in the restaurant Christine had booked for us ....she even asked for a specific table, in a quiet corner by the fire. Our stay at Cote Lourmarin was an absolute delight and we cannot wait to return.

My wife and I have been coming to France every year now for the past 15 years and recently stayed 4 nights at Cote Lourmarin, where our experience was perfect in everyway. We had read the reviews of others before making our decision and they all praised the hotel and the owners, Christine and Pascal Delatour. The location is perfect for visiting the region. Aix was close by and easy to visit for the day as were numerous perched villages in the region. Lourmarin, itself was a beautiful village and had a number of enjoyable eating experiences. Our room, La Chambre Lavande, was huge by French standards, very private, and beautifully appointed by Christine. Although Christine doesn't take credit cards, which I found unusual at first, I am so glad that didn't stop us from taking a leap of faith and making a reservation. Christine also doesn't require a deposit, but rather believes in the goodwill of those coming to her residence. Breakfast was an unusually delightful experience. Besides the best fromage selection offered anywhere else in France, there were specialty breads and pastries of Provence, and different ham varieties each day. Christine would make you eggs if you so desired. Additionally, Christine was a very charming and approachable host able to offer you any amount of information you might want to know on the region or the French culture. She really made our Provence experience both incredible and wonderful. We would definitely go back again.

Room Tip: There are only two rooms, La Chambre Lavande, and a larger suite. Both are really, really large and...

It’s hard to put into words sometimes how to describe a scene with a picture or a smell or a moment of surprise, and that’s how I feel about this phenomenal B&B located in one of the most beautiful villages I have ever been. Cote Lourmarin is only beaten by its host. Christine is in one word amazing. She guided us thru some of the most beautiful villages of Provence, she took time to spend with us and explain where we should go and what to expect there, and by the way, she put out one of the best breakfasts I have ever had traveling.
The home has two rooms for guests and a sitting room where we had wine and cheese with Christine and her husband. The home is at least 300 years old and is located in the tiny village of Lourmarin. Look for pictures of this village it is storybook,
We happened to be there in harvest time and the vineyards’ were full.
If you go to Provence and you don’t know what part to go to as we did, go HERE you won’t regret one moment.

Room Tip: Both are great
