We went to the Hotel Kronprinz in May 2010. The staff were very friendly. There was a wedding going on when we got there, so they put us in a room that was not attached to the hotel, which was good. However, the wedding was not a problem, they were not very loud and there was still plenty of room for us to eat dinner in the restaurant as they had a seperate dining area for non-wedding people. The hotel was in a nice section of Falkensee, so it was good to get away from the crowds and city of Berlin. However, if you want to be in walking distance to shopping and nightlife, this place is not the place for you. Our room was a big and clean room and they had a small playground for children which was great for our son. The food at the restaurant was good. Dinner had traditional german foods. The breakfast was also good, mostly wurst, cheese, bread, yogurt and cereals. It is in a nice location across the street from many forest trails, which we enjoyed. We saw lots of different birds in the forest. However, if you do walk there, put your socks on the outside of your pants as there are ticks in the forest (or you can just walk on the paved walkways instead of the dirt tracks). If you are disabled, this may not be such a good place, as there are many steps to go up to get to the reception area. We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Kronprinz.
