“Great food, family service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 March 2014 via mobile

We ate here as a birthday celebration and it was very, very pleasant. Not the most outstanding meal ever, but a very enjoyable experience. The menu is varied and interesting and of very good quality. A particularly nice touch was not having to drink the whole botttle of wine, when you have to drive back up the mountain. They happily recorked and supplied a bag for you to take away and enjoy later.

“Wonderful find”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 September 2013 via mobile

We ordered the €35 menu and what a feast it was! Irene's appetizers came one after another. The main course of cod with roast almonds was delicious! And I especially loved the strawberry liqueur! Not to be missed!

“Unexpected and Delicious!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 August 2013

The restaurant is very unpretentious and cosy. It came recommended, but we really didn't realize how seriously they take food here. We loved it! We ate with 2 children and 4 adults & the staff bent over backwards to make sure we all enjoyed our meal...Pasta and beef, simply for the kids and loads of appetizers for the 4 to share. Peaceful location (go to visit the Romanic church when you are finished). They specialize in desserts (which, I find, is unusual in Spain--homemade yogurt passes for great post dinner treat here--) & we tried most. Yum! I offer only 4 stars because I found many dishes over salted & the ingredients were fresh, so this was unnecessary & took away from the over all effect. I also want to add that the prices are very good for food of this caliber. Loved it!
